The tweets are horrific but it is possible, I would suggest extremely likely, that some of them are not TRAs but are bots from a Russian or some other bot farm

They aren’t bots. Not unless bots chat amongst themselves and engage in (relatively) coherent conversation. Which is possible. But it’s unlikely. It isn’t making trans people look like violent mysoginists, it’s a call to arms that is emboldening the brethren. Power in numbers. A good excuse for all the nasty violent men to drop their guard. And a good number of them have actual real life presences traced accurately on the farm.
Or is the farm a bot factory, too?

Like church said though, the actual real life encounters, hooded black garbed figures, baseball bats wrapped in barbed wire, and threatening calls to libraries and other public facilities who have the temerity to consider hosting women challenge that ‘trolls’ would be an appropriate name. And even if they weren’t rampant mysoginistic violent trans people, but political or otherwise agents of discontent, they are definitively going after women, not attempting to make trans people look bad. (I don’t think anything can, at this point - it’s a bit like our mate Donnie claiming he could shoot people in the street and still win an election because he’s untouchable.)

Trans women have been using the loo with cis women for years. and locker rooms, etc. GC folk always come out with the lie that they can always tell who is trans. yet fail that metric over and over again.

Yeah, they did. And for the most part women didn't mind.

But then the straight male AGPs, abusers, perves and misogynists saw a way in to womens spaces off the back of transsexuals (who had quietly been going about their business as you said) and fucked it up for them. These men with their high level of male entitlement have been aggressive in aserting their 'rights' and not giving a shit about how it affects women and transexual women who had been sharing spaces.

Women have been forced into asserting their boundaries by men appropriating trans identities and broadening the meaning of trans to be whatever benefits them.

So maybe you should be angry with these men for ruining things for trans people who were just getting on with their lives.

For the avoidance of doubt

I do not for one minute deny that there are plenty of violent, misogyist TRAs around. I have had RL encounters and seen all the stuff online we are all so familiar with.

My comment about trolls and bots arose when I looked at a collage of screen shots of some of the disgusting, misogynist threats and abuse targeting JK Rowling.

Seeing all of those comments together reminded me of the troll farms I had read about that have used threats of sexual violence against female activists who posed a threat to various oppressive regimes.

And even if they weren’t rampant mysoginistic violent trans people, but political or otherwise agents of discontent, they are definitively going after women, not attempting to make trans people look bad.

But if you look at the collection of screen shots together, while they are definitely "going after women" they also make trans people look really bad.

Now personally I do not belive that all trans identified people are rapists and sexual predators. Nor do I belive that the all post disgusting stuff like "suck my lady dick you crusty TERF cunt!"

Nor do I belive that they all support people who post stuff like that.

I also do not believe that all trans identified people support sex cults that advocate the sexual abuse of children.

So I am going to post a thread in which trans identifying people who want to protect children and vulnerable adults from abuse and protect women from threats of sexual violence can express their commitment to such a cause.

On another thread a TRA poster ridiculed safeguarding concerns by claiming that some women sexually abuse children and that some lesbians are in abusive relationships.

When I asked them whether they would pledge support to distancing the TRA movement from paedophiles and paedphile apologists they went very quiet.

I think it is time to ask the trans activists to step up and nail their colours to the mast.

I am wondering how much autism and neurological-diversity has to do with it.

People who are on the spectrum can be very lonely and very vulnerable to being groomed and brainwashed. Everyone is vulnerable, of course, but people on the spectrum typically suffer bullying, loneliness and isolation which makes them much more vulnerable to grooming and cults than neuro-typical people.

Some people on the spectum are savants. People on the spectrum are signficantly represented in the coding and hacking communities as well as in internet security companies. Such people can make treasured human assets for governments, security companies, cults and criminal networks.

Hacker and coding communities have, for decades, contained subcultures in which people enjoy alternative lifestyles, everything from experimentation with psychedelics through to polyamory. The Burning Man festival provides some insight into these communities.

If you were a state actor or a criminal network wishing to recruit savant human assets then the creation of a network of online and RL trans communities would be a clever strategy would it not?
