The point I was making is the type pile on a woman gets for speaking her truth on Twitter is a world away from the type of pile on a man gets.

And yes the language used is abhorent and shameful and funnily enough all from a certain demographic.

DR, one single man, gets to make a personal pronouncement about something that affects billions of women, and that was intended to exert influence and sway the opinions of billions in favour of TWAW, and yet even a fraction of the actual women he is affecting aren't able to object to him personally in case it looks like a pile on?

Even though he clearly would be happy and be proud if his one man's opinion made a difference in this matter and the opinions of millions of women were ignored.

Once again, there is simply no mirror image between the sexes and what we go through.

I don't agree with anything that goes to personal insults, but women absolutely should be able to challenge his remarks, even if they are couched in satire or sarcasm. Why should he get to try to wield his personal influence but then be personally unaccountable? It is a gross and infuriating insult to women and the concept of fairness and equality.

It's actually an admission that women are bottom of the pile when it comes to talking about themselves and their rights.

When is the right time for women to considered equal human beings, or talk about themselves and their rights? "Put the kettle on love, we'll talk about this after the revolution..." Right?

I want my daughter to not have to see a penis in the ladies change area at the swimming pool, and for female in prison and secure psychiatric units to not be locked in with Male people. I want all my smears and mammograms to be carried out by healthcare workers who also have cervixes and breasts.

Gay female people and BAME female people are included in female spaces and feminist action. Trans female people are too (but they tend to opt out).

The trans issue matters because we don’t accept that humans can change sex and we don’t want male people in single-sex spaces designated for females.

She's wealthy because she is an incredibly successful writer Smile - never forget that she fled an abusive relationship practically penniless. She also happens to have given millions to charities, and set up her own.

Is this the level you always resort to? Bizarre misinterpretations of other people's posts, goadiness and glossing over misogyny, on the Feminism and Women's Rights board, to dismiss other women's voices?
