Just wondering if anyone's seen this on Twitter. Quite a funny, interesting thread, eg

#AskDanielRadcliffe When was the last time you showed solidarity with trans activists by dating a trans woman, and what steps are you taking to unlearn your genital preferences?

Is the first one that showed up when I clicked. Sorry if it's old news.

Women talking about female biology is completely horrible and transphobic according to TRAs.

Women just be told to shut up, and that they're called menstruators now Hmm

It's always fascinating to read the spluttering of a poster that understands about a quarter of what it is they are so confidently posting on.

JemimaShore · 15/06/2020 21:14

That's what women are normally told to do.

Here's a couple of screenshots taken from right at the top of the hashtag. Directed at JK Rowling, and a woman who has been designated a 'terf'.

The Ask Daniel Radcliffe hashtag started off at the weekend, as satire, to show that women's biology exists, and matters.

It will/has turned into a battleground now it's trending.

Show me the snuff tweet please?

Ah - so it's not on the hashtag - you're referring to Dr's post here - who was referring to the fact that Radcliffe had NOT been told to choke a dick?

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 15/06/2020 21:24

I didn't know Grint has a child but I knew Redmayne does. It's insulting they claim women's biology doesn't matter when they've personally benefitted from a woman's biology to father their child.

JemimaShore · 15/06/2020 21:24

Yes, perhaps you should take a look at the tirade of violent misogynistic abuse that JK Rowling has been subjected to in the past week, and ask yourself why Daniel Radcliffe has not received similar?

(Clue - feminists don't use that language to make their arguments, Trans-activists do).

Ereshkigalangcleg · 15/06/2020 21:25

To add I think JKR made an appalling mistake posting her rhetoric during Pride Month and the BLM protests.

When exactly are women allowed to speak? The "rhetoric" was in response to a campaign of abuse after her tweets on the Maya Forstater case and her mistaken copy and paste of text referring to a woman being attacked by a male TRA. This happened the week before. She was tired of it.

DrDavid that is an appalling post. Why would you even fucking post that?

Don't be ridiculous. No one did post it to him. They did, multiple times to JK Rowling. They have to many women they consider "TERFs". That's the whole fucking point.
