Obama made a change, the courts immediately halted that change (so the change never actually occurred) and Trump reversed the (theoretical) change.

Thus US trans people’s material access to healthcare has not actually changed. You should read beyond a headline.

I’m not an American but if I were I would support Medicare for all (all means including trans people).

Come on then, please put the Angela Davis argument as to why we shouldn't advocate for female rights.

We’re feminists. Feminism includes lesbians and women of colour.

Why would we advocate for gay and BAME people as a whole group? Feminism is about liberating women from patriarchy, not advocating for all the bits of patriarchy that aren’t run by heterosexual white men.

Any woman can speak on women's rights. You, me, Angela Davis, JK Rowling. No one has more credibility when they're speaking about their own lived experience.

Er... Women's spaces are for women, not people with penises.

There's nothing wrong with being a person with a penis, most people with penises are very lovely. They simply don't belong in women's spaces.

I just don't agree that transwomen are women, and I believe that women's rights matter too - and women should be able to discuss their female biology, and how it shapes their lives, without being told by men/TRAs to "suck their dicks".

The rights of female black trans people? Yes. Of course. Transmen are often left out of trans activism so it’s important feminists look out for them. Sending a transman to the male prison estate would be a terrible thing to do. As would preventing them from accessing appropriate reproductive care and screening for female cancers. It’s the main reason I don’t think sex markers on NHS records should be able to be changed.

Indeed, some of us even have them in the house with us but I don't even want my one in female spaces with me. Privacy is a good thing.

Which far right agenda would that be? Sex based rights for women and girls? Oh yes that's always been no 1 on the far right agenda. And JK Rowling, celebrated left wing liberal author, she's our leader.
