Sorry for my fairly lame question to Emily for the webchat tomorrow. Hope you managed to get in better questions?

Emily>>>>>>women>>>>>>bus

Bloomburger · 05/02/2020 13:45

Could you ask her is she is aware that she pulls a face and makes a noise like a 4 year old has asked her the same fucking question about stones or dinosaurs or something else as fucking obvious every time anyone with a different view point to her own asks a question.

PenguindreamsofDraco · 05/02/2020 13:45

What on earth was wrong with the question asking what about the WOMEN?

ScrimshawTheSecond · 05/02/2020 13:45

this is all about safeguarding.

ahahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles · 05/02/2020 13:47

The irony of the "safeguarding" has made me cringe so hard that I think I've turned into a pretzel.

ScrimshawTheSecond · 05/02/2020 13:47

Silly Penguin, we can't have too many questions about women on Mumsnet!!!

I did get a screenshot of that. Trying really hard not to swear. Not sure why I fucking bother.

HairyPotter · 05/02/2020 13:47

I’ve just been deleted within a nano second because I asked why she brought everything GC related to being kind to transwoman. Perfectly polite and a fairly pertinent question I felt.

MrsSnippyPants · 05/02/2020 13:48

Our final comments were almost all deleted. How convenient. If any of Emily's staff are lurking here, OPEN YOUR EYES

Saved this screenshot in case it goes

Secondly we're finding it increasingly hard to tempt politicians onto Mumsnet because of fears they'll simply be harangued about this single issue and shouted at for not providing the desired response

Hmm, what a puzzler. If only there was a way to avoid all this.

They know full well TW are NOT W, they are just too chickenshit to say it. So they swerve it and try and tell us off for being mean wimmin, or we won't even come and then it'll be YOUR FAULT. You made us do this.

bellinisurge · 05/02/2020 13:59

She deliberately avoided the question. Speaks volumes as to what a coward she is.

ScrimshawTheSecond · 05/02/2020 13:59

They don't want to answer the questions we want asked.

I just noticed I missed it. Whew, only 24hours notice of it? That was some quick organisation skills.

or was it more like "try and do the bare minimum"?

Redshoeblueshoe · 05/02/2020 14:02

Labour - what a joke

SentimentalKiller · 05/02/2020 14:02

What about feminine men. They are at risk in men's prisons. As are young, skinny men. Or young ASD men, or those from the care system
Should we make them safer in men's prisons or stick them in with the women?

ScrimshawTheSecond · 05/02/2020 14:06

Very good points, Sentimental. As ever, though, all other considerations are ignored in order to show how much everybody feels sorry for Dave the Dinner Lady's brave and stunning journey.

SchoolMedia · 05/02/2020 14:10

Finding it hard to tempt politicians onto a site with how many million individual users for a bit of exposure (cos cui bono) who might ask them uncensored questions?

And if by chance we spot the opportunity to assess their fitness for office by asking their opinion on matters important to us we get deleted?

FML - I think that sums up our political class just perfectly.

happydappy2 · 05/02/2020 14:11

Thanks to those who followed up on my question about prisons-I didn’t dare as last time on a webchat I posted more than 1 question I was locked out of MN for the rest of the day as punishment

LatinforTelly · 05/02/2020 14:11

Just caught up. What an absolute fucking car crash.

SutterCane · 05/02/2020 14:12

Her response to the question about prisons was beyond crass. Women have been sexually assaulted by men placed in the female estate but we must protect the poor TWs from men pointing and laughing Hmm

Redshoeblueshoe · 05/02/2020 14:12

It's almost like they don't know we have the vote.

littlbrowndog · 05/02/2020 14:18

They are politicians.

They get paid and elected by us

They have privilege

Let women speak then answer their questions

Is that so hard to do

Lollygaggles · 05/02/2020 14:20

Dave the fucking dinner lady?
There are no words

BringbackLang · 05/02/2020 14:22

Exactly Littl, politicians forget that they are employed by the people to be our representative in parliament.

BovaryX · 05/02/2020 14:23

Labour - what a joke

Pithy. But accurate.
