I have not read the replies but it beggars belief, from what has been posted on this thread, that JKR’s tweet has brought forth such a storm of rage and hate. I do hope the money she has buys good security because I would not like to be an ordinary person on the street with that amount of hate directed at me. Yet, this latter point - the creation of fear - is how abusers win, is it not?

No offense to Julia but she is not remotely as well known as JK Rowling.

You can tell from the spelling that many of those tantrumming at the latter are Americans who most likely aren't familiar with JHB for a start.

Of course they also know nothing of UK law and should frankly mind their own business but oddly enough woke types never notice their own racism, xenophobia or cultural imperialism.

I keep looking at this and thinking it cant be real. It's some kind of earth/hyperspace/tear in the dimensions thing (especially after the very crappy day I had. But then I look again and see that likes keep increasing, she is no 1 trending now too. Just bloody fabulous. I was so upset by the judgement in Maya's case this morning but I'm wondering whether this could be a blessing in disguise. Fingers crossed for a higher court for Maya in due time too.
