From Good Morning Britain. Possibly on this morning (it's just appeared on my Youtube recommendations).

@CaptainKirksSpikeyGhost oh shit - sorry. Had know idea it was his. Left Oz 20 years ago!! Sorry all, will have that removed.

CaptainKirksSpikeyGhost · 15/10/2019 21:59

It's not his version.

Macareaux · 15/10/2019 21:59

Maybe India could now unblock the hundreds of women they have blocked on Twitter?

midcenturylegs · 15/10/2019 21:59

Ah just reported myself. I guess it was not really relevant to this thread!

Aspley · 15/10/2019 22:56

Just more evidence of why activists try to shut everyone down with their no debate policy.
They do not have a leg to stand on. Piers has obviously seen (and been on the end of himself) the abuse dished out to the GC academics and women in general. Piers is giving this issue much needed airtime.

ShesDressedInBlackAgain · 15/10/2019 23:24

Someone called Benjamin a 'Tesco Value Owen Jones' GrinGrinGrin

HandsOffMyRights · 15/10/2019 23:27

Gosh, Benjamin is like a Viz character.

I was nodding along with Piers and India and I'd have like to have heard more from India, putting Pipsqueak in his place.

I have to say that both India and Piers did a fine job and this was a satisfying debate for once.

HandsOffMyRights · 15/10/2019 23:29

Oh ShesDressedInBlackAgain, that's priceless.

'But oh what can you do when he's such a prat?' (Sung to the tune of 'Dressed in Black') Grin

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 15/10/2019 23:30

Roger Melly the man on telly (bollocks!)

HandsOffMyRights · 15/10/2019 23:32

I blame the 'Modern Parents' Lord..

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 15/10/2019 23:34

Spoiled bastard...

TalkingintheDark · 15/10/2019 23:42

So there were three people there born and brought up male, and two people born and brought up female. And who were the only ones talking, virtually the whole of the time in that 13 min clip?

Why, the ones who were born and brought up male. How very extraordinary.

HandsOffMyRights · 15/10/2019 23:43

Student Grant reminds me of a certain self styled writer with his copy of The Guardian...

The main thing that jumped out at me during that fiery interaction was India's forceful restraint of BB. Gosh I would never grab anyone like that and certainly not a man

Paris Lees did the same to a Brexit bloke on Question Time.

I have seen it done by women- usually ultra-feminine women and in a safe, public situation on blokes who are very unlikely to respond aggressively. It's a sort of emphasising their point.

AncientLights · 15/10/2019 23:48

Dr McK also placed a restraining hand on the arm of a TM when they were both on a show - can't recall which. Definitely a gesture of domination.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 15/10/2019 23:49

I have quite small hands so keep them to myself.

ErrolTheDragon · 16/10/2019 00:09

I noticed in the DM piece there's an opposite pair of change.org petitions, remove or keep Morgan. I took a look, the keep one currently has over twice as many votes as the remove one.
Maybe a bit harder to game than Twitter?

Gingerkittykat · 16/10/2019 05:54

It's interesting that Piers said that this was the issue he has had the most abuse when he has spoken about it. The man has pissed a lot of people off over the years so it is very telling exactly how aggressive the TRAs are.

I wonder if he has been called a TERF yet?

I also wonder if he will stand up for ny of the women who have also been abused at the hands of TRAs?

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 16/10/2019 07:04

India has been growing more and more annoyed at stonewall for years, She's also growing increasingly disillusioned at everyone stonewall now accepts as transgender.

I'm more cynical than that. I think its because India is getting pissed off at rapidly becoming less and less special and youneeq.

SunsetBeetch · 16/10/2019 07:08

A certain doctor isn't happy with India. Only someone like Harrop could watch a transwoman talk about how hard transitioning was, and how hard this current nonsense is making things for her, and tell her she has immense privilege.

(Harrop and Butterworth: separated at birth?)

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 16/10/2019 07:08

The other thing about that whole interview as the sheer volume of barefaced bullshit lil' Ben spewed. He couldn't tell the truth for the amount of lies, exaggerations and drama llamas falling out his gob.

If you don't have an honest argument, then you need to take a good look at yourself in the mirror and ask what the fuck you are doing.

HandsOffMyRights · 16/10/2019 07:11

(Harrop and Butterworth: separated at birth?)

Yes!

nettie434 · 16/10/2019 07:40

It's interesting that Piers said that this was the issue he has had the most abuse when he has spoken about it.

This from Gingerkittycat says a lot. From his support for Donald Trump to his views on football, Piers Morgan has always courted controversy. My only hope is that it alerts other journalists and media outlets to what is happening.

twelvecolourfulbirds · 16/10/2019 08:48

Rose Of Dawn on Piers M/GMB from 11 minutes. I hope Rose gets a spot on GMB!

The rest is also well worth watching too. The ridiculous CNN town hall to start with - transactivists sound to me like the abusive partner to The Democrats'/CNN's compliant and people pleasing one - there's simply never enough you can do. At the end, the Dave Chapelle Netflix special controversy, and use of suicide as a hammer to beat the GC.
