From Good Morning Britain. Possibly on this morning (it's just appeared on my Youtube recommendations).

OP posts:
ErrolTheDragon · 15/10/2019 20:46

but at least he put himself up to debate which is more than most will do.

He wasn't really 'debating' though, was he? He was just pontificating, shaking his head and telling the others they were wrong.

Fuma · 15/10/2019 20:47

He pretty much said re education at one point and only stopped when Morgan blared over him. Shame really because that would have been quite a moment.

coatlessinspokane · 15/10/2019 20:49

Bloody hell. It’s a cold day in hell when I agree with Piers Morgan and India Willoughby. But shit, she actually said that TW aren’t W and my head is about to explode.

I hate Piers and the way he interrupts people but he does seem to have a certain feminist streak in his concern for women’s sport.

Fuma · 15/10/2019 20:49

if thinking you're a bellend is wrong, o don't wanna be right

nettie434 · 15/10/2019 20:57

The go/stay poll is a Twitter poll. People are voting for lots of reasons, most of which have nothing to do with Piers Morgan's views on gender and being transgender. It was a risky strategy on the part of GMB (unless they would like him to go) because he provokes such extreme reactions. However, I saw one tweet claiming viewing figures are higher on the days he is on.

I wondered who the bloke appearing with India Willoughby was so thanks for enlightening me!

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 15/10/2019 21:03

I'm not sure you have to be a feminist to see that it's complete nonsense to allow biological males to compete with women. Isn't it just commonsense? If you look online you'll see plenty of misogynistic men think the gender id in sports trend is crap too. If people weren't bending over themselves trying to accommodate everyone in the name of kindness or inclusion or whatever, they'd acknowledge it is complete rubbish too. None of them are genuine. I notice wokey guy tried to deflect the sports question by mumbling some nonsense about 'women not being disadvantaged in golf' or some such rubbish. He knows he's talking shite, he doesn't believe it himself and has to reach for some silly example to try and save face.

Thingybob · 15/10/2019 21:09

The main thing that jumped out at me during that fiery interaction was India's forceful restraint of BB. Gosh I would never grab anyone like that and certainly not a man.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 15/10/2019 21:12

Yes I noticed that too! Wokey guy noticed it as well. I imagine there was some pressure applied..

Michelleoftheresistance · 15/10/2019 21:13

Yes, it's like the Oxford Police not wanting to come out and say what stickerwoman's stickers actually say. Because they know it's a position that doesn't stand up to rationality, common sense and anyone not marinaded in the ideology, and it's morally indefensible.

Unwilling to own their own views. It's a common issue of the TRA lobby.

Yes.

TheTravellingCat · 15/10/2019 21:27

Wokey bloke was indescribably awful. India Willoughby was excellent.

ExhaustedGrinch · 15/10/2019 21:28

I love India calling out Stonewall on Twitter!!

twitter.com/IndiaWilloughby/status/1184178290183069698

"Contrary to popular opinion, I want credibility and understanding for trans people. And for everyone to relax! Have a laugh. But that’s not going to happen until Stonewall sort out the mess they’ve created.
And if they don’t, maybe it’s time for transitioners to leave LGBT." -India Willoughby

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 15/10/2019 21:30

What is happening? I’m getting a bit scared...

Fuma · 15/10/2019 21:31

Yes I noticed the grabbing. Can't say I've ever seen a woman act like that on a morning chat show. She's known for being aggressive though isn't she?

CaptainKirksSpikeyGhost · 15/10/2019 21:32

India has been growing more and more annoyed at stonewall for years, She's also growing increasingly disillusioned at everyone stonewall now accepts as transgender.

Presumably because she's realised it has begun to affect her and those around her.

EmpressLesbianInChair · 15/10/2019 21:37

A lot of us wouldn’t have thought twice about using India’s chosen pronouns before all this kicked off.

Now... well.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 15/10/2019 21:38

I suppose if you go the whole nine yards (surgery, medication, clothes, hair, vocal coach - I don’t know what they have some, obviously) to get to where you are, then some spotty oik just says the magic word and gets the keys to the club, then I can understand why they are pissed off.

I think this is it.

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 15/10/2019 21:40

First time I've sat down to watch. Oh my.

Woke bloke couldn't stop himself talking over India or the female presenters; but curiously shut up almost every time Piers spoke up.

What a twit.

HorsewithnoRegretsNonJeNeRegre · 15/10/2019 21:42

I think India's idea that the 'c' word means had the chop is an excellent one.

SimplyTheWorst · 15/10/2019 21:44

India Willoughby, as a reminder:

Um.... maybe don't link to a Rolf Harris song?

midcenturylegs · 15/10/2019 21:55

On a serious note, I'm pretty sure that India said that she didn't call herself a woman, but she didn't want to call herself a trans woman anymore because of Mr Woke Police.
I think it was good that she pulled him up on her having lost work etc because of the TRA movement.
I have to say I'm fairly new to feminism so please feel free to educate me, correct me. On the other Piers thread I've expressed my opinions, derived from on my thoughts about my DD and her sports.. perhaps my motives are selfish but I'm slowly becoming more furious.

CaptainKirksSpikeyGhost · 15/10/2019 21:57

Okay sorry it's not his version.
You had me worried we were all going to give him royalties there for a moment.
