As I said before I cant watch the video. I have attached a photo of what been claimed to be the MAP flag.

Encouraging families and welcoming people playing out their fetishes at the same time is encouraging the public including children to be part of the fetish.

A fetish float has no place at pride. They are essentially engaging all the public, including minors in getting their sexual jollies.

Who in their right kind would allow a fetish float at pride? And claim it's a family event as well. People getting sexual kicks out while involving kids are what?

Personally I think pride should be stepping as far away from fetishes, wether they include MAP or not. A fetish is not sexual orientation. Pride is not for people to get their sexual kicks.

And actually up until this year, I went to pride the last 5 years.

The people acting out their fetishes was disturbing. Last year there were ridiculous amounts of people on dog leads and gimp masks. I said I wouldnt go again, I certainly woildnt yale my children. Unfortunately, to gay couple I go with didnt go this year either. That's quite sad, they feel it's not for them.

You're supposed to be. There are a couple of posters who turn up to threads and over post endlessly, working to turn the whole thread into a personal conversation with them about anything at all other than the actual subject. Obsessing on a throwaway word endlessly is a favourite tactic. (Look up: Cowbag bitches. That was a good one.)

You'll notice in those posts there is no logic, no exchange of information, no discernible point of any kind, no aim other than to dominate the thread and a lot of protesting about how rotten and horrible MNetters are and how disgusting and pointless these conversations are (while continuing to post and post and post here, often investing hours and hours of their time into it, go figure), but the basic vague point is that women are big old meanies for saying no to men and deserve all they get.

The probable point is to try and bore and confuse people into giving up following the thread, and to fill it as fast as possible to hit 1000 posts. Quite interesting to note which kinds of threads attract this attention and then to consider the agenda behind it. ie: why is it so threatening that women are telling other women about this particular subject and who does it threaten? And also to consider why this tedious nonsense has to stand in place of any coherent information or lines of debate or argument. (Which you can find freely in almost every other post.)
