I think this is a really intelligent and relevant post, worth repeating:
Arguing over whether the paedophiles had their own float, coat-tailed the fetish float, or just found each other and walked as a group, does not detract from the fact that paedophiles have been openly attending Prides across the UK/world and sharing about it on social media.
If I tell my neighbour a burglar is climbing through the window she left open I don't expect her to have a go because she thinks I'm criticising her need for fresh air.
Noticing safeguarding fails shouldn't be seen as criticism. If there was even a hint of suspicion that paedoohiles were exploiting 'my movement' I'd want to know about it and do something about it.
Thank you Spartacus.
Surely, we all agree there's enough evidence on twitter and other social media to prove that paedophiles are infiltrating pride (Peter Twatchell @ Brighton Pride etc)? So what if some people on here got some of their 'facts' wrong? Their general concerns and points still hold true and it seems we ALL agree with these concerns. Absolutely no good will come from this obsessive point scoring over the details. It's divisive and at this time, more than ever, we need to be united.
