One of the signs I see says ‘transgender ideology harms lesbians (female homosexual)’

Some trans gender ideology, does harm lesbians. Especially those that are trying to pretend that the definition of lesbian includes males. Can you not see how that's damaging?

Can you not see how, trans ideology that states biological males can be lesbians, damages the protection of lesbians have under the equalities.

The thing that I don’t get is why you’re defending the harassment. It’s one thing to disagree with what they said. But the proportionate reaction to someone with a banner that you disagree with is to think “hmph, don’t agree with that at all”, and move on. Or at most, maybe to say to that person, “I disagree”. Or go for the most British reaction of all and passive aggressively comment loudly to your companions about the riffraff they’re letting in these days.

It’s that you defend them being surrounded by a mob and vilified that’s unconscionable. Don’t you get that?

I know I’ve certainly peaked untrans many folk for a fact. Some of them have done it publicly on threads whilst I’m commenting.

But my aim has never been to ‘win’ it is not a race to the bottom, I feel desperately sorry for those taking part in the oppression Olympics because there will never be winners.

UK law is very clear:

1 No person can ever change their natural sex.

2 A woman who is attracted only to other women is a lesbian.

3 A woman is a female of any age.
