I will never accept this 'legal fiction, it is a travesty.

How does this work with a passport? Does the passport automatically get changed as well? Presumably at some point AC will be going to American to get married? And all of their previous dubious history will be erased? How will that work for visa purposes? Sorry for all the questions, I am genuinely bewildered on how you can just erase your own history, especially the more distasteful parts of which AC has plenty off.

Info here on how people with convictions who then obtain a grc have asked for their records to be changed so crimes are not 'gender specific'.

The example is to do with prostitution, but the only other crime that really comes to mind that would 'disclose gender' is 'rape', which of course requires a penis.

What has pissed me off is that I have had to get permission from the General Registrar of England to reregister my son as a child of our marriage at the same register office that Aimee Challenor went to, because my DH died before he could sign the forms, yet Aimee Challenor can receive a fictitious one. It's taken nearly 3 months for them to sort us out.
