If she is off to the USA, Challenor should have to disclose this arrest, even though there was no charge. Or can it now be conveniently hidden?

When a school, say, is looking to employ someone and they say, ok, Janet Bloggs, we've found some serious crimes committed by John Bloggs, and Janet says 'oh, that's not me, I've always been Janet, since I was born in 1990, see? Here's my birth certificate'.

How does safeguarding, and legal documentation generally, work now if we're rewriting history?

No, the definition of "utter madness" is people being allowed to legally change their birth certificate to state that they are the opposite sex to their actual biological sex, and that they were born that way.

FFS you bunch of bloody idiots, right the original birth certificate still exists so the birth will still be recorded the GRC controls the access to that record and issues a new one which is used. the DBS and the sensitive team are exactly the same as using the normal dbs it's just a different way of giving the information to people. I've used both and both have been fine I just use the normal one. all dbs are checked the same. it will highlight if there is a previous name and it will be linked to your new one like with anyone who changes there bloody name. lots of people who are not trans also do that. the GRC does not remove the previous records from exsistance it controls the access to that record.

Also the number for DBS is on the website you can just phone them up and I am sure they can alley your fears re the dbs process and GRC

Also most trans people know that you can not change biological sex. it's one of the main issues in relation to dysphoria. So saying so n so is aware is like stating the bleeding obvious to us.

Can Anonymous come to the UK? As a married spouse of a UK citizen I always thought it possible in those circumstances.
