Oíche Mhaith Miriam. Wow so light wonder why they bothered. Nobody debating live in the studio which I thought always happens on prime time!! Wonder if they were worried about offending anyone or being accused of anything.
I'd say it was more bent to gender critical views than anything else.

It was much better than I expected, balanced and honest. The family story is heartbreaking - all teenagers (and everyone else) deserves so much better from our mental health services.

Amnesty Ireland are tweeting that
"Gender recognition is a right, and should not be up for debate! Denying people legal recognition of their self-determined gender violates their human rights."

The only thing I object to in that is the "not up for debate piece".

Well be the wokey hokey, colour me actually shocked; that was an excellent, even-handed report which touched on all the reasonable, legitimate concerns that present in respect of extremist trans ideology. Still processing it all. Jaysus, Irish Woke Twitter will be in rage mode max!

Yes lots of people bemused at all the screeching about transphobia and saying GL and others made excellent points. I'm guessing all the attempts at deplatforming and the protests have created the Streisand Effect. Probably not what the TRAs want because they have no argument against facts and reality hence 'no debate'.

Honest to God, if I read one more Tweet saying “Trans lives are not up for debate!” I’ll crack.
