When the whole question of whether trans activism is a cult, the only one it fails down on is the leader with the god complex. Then there is Webberley...
She has a god complex. And that's why medicine has strict rules on practising because of the danger of it within its field because there is a real risk associated with being closely involved in life and death decisions and gatekeeping.
It's a dynamic of an abuse of power of an intimate relationship based on trust between the doctor - patient relationship, where the doctor has power and the patient is vulnerable.
The patient is told that this doctor is the only one who cares and the only one who is looking after them and they are selfless in doing so.
Webberley behaves like a cult leader on every sign of a cult.
Financial abuse, God complex, above the law, perscuted by everyone else, tries to restrict critical thought, tries to keep group members away from outside influences, weird mantras, telling them unless they have drugs they'll be at risk of suicide.
It's scary. Really scary.
And it damages patient trust with HCPs in general not just individual directly affected patients, when incidents like this appear. The harm creates a ripple effect.
