Do you ever worry we’re wrong?

About the trans debate? I don’t believe trans-women are women, and I think the concept of being able to self ID would be detrimental to women’s rights. But with the opposition to us, the many arguments with people about it, the accusations of being transphobic, sometimes I really worry that I’m wrong and that I will be on the wrong side of history. Does this ever worry anyone? I keep doubting myself.

No, but it is good to keep thinking critically and ask yourself that question every so often.

I have no problem with people feeling more comfortable adopting the dress and expression of the stereotype of the opposite sex. And it will be a good day when how you dress and behave (gender) becomes independent of biological sex, and the bullying and harassment of people who defy stereotypes stops.

But a world where it is seen as a good thing sterilise and surgically alter people to conform to stereotypes? No thank you.
