Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

Antifeminist movement...

Spinflight · 21/08/2018 13:52

Seems to be gathering pace, faster than any other movement that I can recall..

Red Pill, MRAs, blogs and youtube channels seem to be springing up aplenty.

Can we put all of this down to misogyny or admit some failings of feminist thought?

Problems with feminism only seems to exist on the internet.

Meanwhile women out there fighting for humanitarian rights...

If you are a woman. And you believe you should be equal to men.
Then you are a feminist.
Because the alternative is a disparity between sexes.

A splash of hot water per Weetabix biscuit - a few seconds to stand, and then consume

That sounds more like a building material than a foodstuff Shock

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 21/08/2018 17:59

Cornflakes, brown sugar, a splash of milk and a dollop of double cream is the late-night-munchies snack of the gods.

And when ds1 was about 20 months old, he once ate 5.5 weetabix for his breakfast - he kept asking for more, and I wanted to see how much weetabix a toddler can hold. He didn’t need any lunch that day - and his nappies were incredible.

”That sounds more like a building material than a foodstuff”

Having spent many hours chipping rock hard weetabix off the high chair, I am firmly of the opinion that it would make a perfect filler for potholes, @TallulahWaitingInTheRain!

BarrackerBarmer · 21/08/2018 18:04

What do you mean OP?
You're not making sense.

terryleather · 21/08/2018 18:06

I must say I'm really impressed by the amount of Weetabix so many posters' DS can put away!

TimeLady · 21/08/2018 18:10

Granola and yoghurt...yum, but had to stop after I broke a tooth eating it. Damn that yoghurt......

sociopathsunited · 21/08/2018 18:15

A big bowl of granola and lemon curd yoghurt is beyond amazing if you chop a juicy ripe peach into the mix. Just sayin'......

Was the OP a seagull poster?

OP is a Ukipper who claims to post from Brussels.

Which certainly shines an interesting light on "Take back control".

sociopathsunited · 21/08/2018 18:24

You know, Belgium is rightly famous for its chocolate and its beer, but what is often sadly overlooked is their pivotal role in the development of the proper way to eat chips.

With mayonnaise.

And now I'm hungry.

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 21/08/2018 18:32

Love chips and mayonnaise

We are going to amsterdamn in October and thats the first thing im eating when i get off the plane

At 10am

louiseaaa · 21/08/2018 18:32

We had a house guest who asked for butter and proceeded to spread it on their weetabix

< clutches pearls>

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 21/08/2018 18:33

Followed by gin

At 11am

LangCleg · 21/08/2018 18:33

Has anybody made hot chocolate using Nutella?

Or is that me being vile again?

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 21/08/2018 18:34

I just dont think you should be able to post anything food related lang

Ever

Datun · 21/08/2018 18:37

We had a house guest who asked for butter and proceeded to spread it on their weetabix

See, now that's just disgusting. There's no excuse.

Ucantarguewistupid · 21/08/2018 18:37

But. Soggy weetabix is him. I like crunchy weetabix too, but soggy is good. Hot weetabix. Made with hot milk - truly yummy.

Drat, have no weetabix, really want some now, but have just come back from the shops, can't really go back out........

Ucantarguewistupid · 21/08/2018 18:38

Actually butter and sugar on dry weetabix is yum, or jam. Don't knock it you try....

Datun · 21/08/2018 18:38

lang, if it's any consolation, my ears always prick up if the word horror is added to food.

You can bet your bottom dollar, that there's something interesting in it. Purely on that basis.

Ucantarguewistupid · 21/08/2018 18:39

Lang - if made with hot milk, that may actually work..... grrr no nutella.....

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 21/08/2018 18:40

My eldest regards Nutella on anything as literal violence. The mere word is triggering as I discovered at crepe stall the other day.

It's the hidden nuts, I think...

terryleather · 21/08/2018 18:43

Hot Choc & Nutella sounds like it could work Lang...?

Breakfast at the Cereal Fascist's is homemade granola, yoghurt and either stewed rhubarb or apple or the ridiculously overpriced ready prepped pomegranate seeds that I can't get enough of and will probably end up bankrupting me...

A big bowl of granola and lemon curd yoghurt is beyond amazing if you chop a juicy ripe peach into the mix. Just sayin'......

That sounds LUSH socio !

LangCleg · 21/08/2018 18:45

So mean. So, so mean.
