Why we need representation from women (and why a Labour Women’s Officer is proving that transwomen don’t represent women)

The following tweet got the poster blocked by a Labour Women’s Officer

“Male violence is toxic isn’t it. More than 1,600 women were killed by men in the US in 2015

And 113 women were killed by men in the UK in 2016.
Disgraceful isn’t it”

This is why women need to represented by women in politics and not transwomen

How is this being allowed to continue? Does Labour just not give a shit about women anymore?

I bet Lil is envious of the rise of fellow traveller on the political career fast-track, Aimee-me-me Challoner.

From schoolboy to External Communications Officer, to standing for election for the Deputy leadership of the Green party - the rise has been meteoric. She fancies her chances as Leader.

The Green party has a huge problem with getting woman to stand in elections and become green politicians. Male-born youths have no such qualms about elbowing their way into positions of influence and celebrity.

Their innate sense of destiny and suitability must have something to do with their chromosones and socialisation. More than anything it tells me that the high-profile transwomen in politics, are men.

Thanks for sharing that pathetic excuse of a reply you got. I can’t believe this is happening to the Labour Party.

So prominent members of the party get investigated for posting Gender Critical tweets, meanwhile men are allowed to call women cunts, and bitches, call for violence and harm to them, dismiss the experiences of
rape survivors and belittle and demean woman all over social media AND LABOUR DOESNT GIVE A SHIT.

If LM wasnt transgendered there is no way they would be getting away with what they post on twitter, LM is a disgrace to the position they hold and a disgrace to the women they supposedly represent.

The Labour Party is repeatedly showing is it doesn’t give a shit about women.
When someone shows you who they are believe them.

"A non-binary transwoman who was attracted to females could stand for trans officer, LGBT+ officer and Women's Officer."

This is precisely what has happened with the NUS representatives: both the trans officer and the LGBT (Women's place) officer are transwomen, and the LGBT (open place) officer is also a male. I am not sure who exactly is meant to represent lesbians and other females within that community, but hey, that's progress! Better a perv than a non-penised person apparently.

@UnderHerEye absolutely agree with you. It is a total disgrace , what has happened to the Labour Party. I feel ashamed now that I voted Labour in the last election. It won’t be happening again unless there is radical reform.
