Why we need representation from women (and why a Labour Women’s Officer is proving that transwomen don’t represent women)

UnderHerEye · 22/07/2018 18:18

The following tweet got the poster blocked by a Labour Women’s Officer

“Male violence is toxic isn’t it. More than 1,600 women were killed by men in the US in 2015

And 113 women were killed by men in the UK in 2016.
Disgraceful isn’t it”

This is why women need to represented by women in politics and not transwomen

How is this being allowed to continue? Does Labour just not give a shit about women anymore?

Thanks, I shall try to watch Riley J.... not straight away though as Riley will likely disturb my tranquil evening Wink

R0wantrees · 24/07/2018 19:54

I was thinking about this with regards the NUS officers' positions:

A non-binary transwoman who was attracted to females could stand for trans officer, LGBT+ officer and Women's Officer.

Bowlofbabelfish · 24/07/2018 19:55

Welcoming and engaging eh?

How many members has labour lost recently again..?

SlothSlothSloth · 24/07/2018 19:57

Very wise, R0wan. By the way a quick google of “Riley Dennis nonbinary” reveals she’s actually done multiple videos on this matter... lucky us...

SlothSlothSloth · 24/07/2018 20:00

A non-binary transwoman who was attracted to females could stand for trans officer, LGBT+ officer and Women's Officer.

Exactly. This is what the new interpretation of intersectionality is all about - maximising the number of marginalised groups one straight, white, middle-class male can dominate at once.

Gary Marshall. I liked this person (was so going to say guy because I have listened to him for years). I honestly hope what he is saying is all good, but I feel sorry for him and especially his wife.

Great description, Sloth.

AngryAttackKittens · 24/07/2018 21:41

So Gary is a man who wears nail polish, and sometimes feminine clothes. Why does one need to be non-binary to do that?

FloralBunting · 24/07/2018 22:19

AAK, I'm going with... so the man can be called special and brave.

BettyDuMonde · 25/07/2018 12:33

I’m wearing ‘men’s’ sweatpants again.

Why is no one telling me I am brave and stunning?

Do I need to change my pronouns?

FloralBunting · 25/07/2018 12:40

Betty, identify as NB, and I will shower you with adulation.

Until then, yam just a woman in sweats, and probably revelling in your privilege, too. Tsk.

SirVixofVixHall · 25/07/2018 16:41

Riley Dennis is like every manipulative, gaslighting, abusive man you’ve ever met, rolled into one hair flicking, over-eyelinered twat. Riley’s videos should be shown in schools to teach young girls what manipulation looks like.

SirVixofVixHall · 25/07/2018 16:46

I’m non binary. My bottom half today is in gardening trousers, so clearly male, and my top half is in a pink t shirt. I’m wearing eyeshadow but I haven’t brushed my hair, and I’ve been busy with the manly task of clearing the garden, but also cleaning the kitchen. I’m non binary personified. . Am I special now ?

SirVixofVixHall · 25/07/2018 16:47

I’m also definitely brave and stunning.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 25/07/2018 16:48

What exactly is non binary? Is it a 2 or a 0.5?

AsAProfessionalFekko · 25/07/2018 16:49

I'm brave too. I got on the central line today - twice.

SirVixofVixHall · 25/07/2018 16:51

AsAProf - that’s definitely brave, but are you stunning ?

Datun · 25/07/2018 17:00

That George Murray person is positively unhinged. What a woman hater. Calling lesbians cunts for defining lesbianism is same sex attraction.

Oldstyle

That description of Labour Party women's officer, would fit perfectly with someone promoting the trans ideology, by dint of the fact that a woman can now be born male.

LM could claim they were doing all that for women, but mean transwomen.

And that's how it works.

Bowlofbabelfish · 25/07/2018 17:01

What exactly is non binary? Is it a 2 or a 0.5?

I’m hexadecimal...

AsAProfessionalFekko · 25/07/2018 17:20

Ooooh. Special...

Sarahconnor1 · 25/07/2018 17:32

I think all this demonstrates, is how seriously Labour take the position of and the need for women's officers.

The answer is obviously they don't take it seriously at all.

You are all brave and stunning.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 25/07/2018 17:35

Sniff. I can also do a mean Marilyn Monroe breathy, husky, whispery baby-girl voice too.
