Looking forward to seeing everyone there, DH and I staying with my brother in Truro this week and DH wants to come. We've got tickets, just checking it's not women only? DH is far from a radical feminist but I would like him to come if possible.

Hi @Pywife2 - definitely not women only. We have two or three men who have purchased tickets and contacted me directly to offer support. So tell your DH he is more than welcome!

@J4nice why don't you join and listen? Maybe your view of what is going on is not quite accurate.

I went to a similar meeting and two trans women were present. One was one of the speakers. Everyone was relaxed, friendly, no one was hostile.

I've got a little story about protesting. In my hippy days in the early 80s I was pro CND and we heard the film "who dares wins" was very anti CND.

So we went to protest it. But decided we couldn't protest it if we didn't't actually know what was in it! So we stood abouut for a bit and then paid for tickets and went in.

It's still one of my favourite films and is nothing to do with CND.

I guess I am just saying why not find out what some women are saying?

Wouldn’t it be better to have a cuppa and a biccy, speak to people, put your views forward, they listen to you, you listen to them? Dialogue is usually the way forward - jaw jaw over war war and all that.
