I've just read that David Davies's complaint (against him) has not been upheld (good news) but now Posie's fallen out with WPUK? Not good. Posie's voice is valuable in this.

Everyone should have a refund by now (I’m not in charge of ticket sales but I’m told it’s been processed) and the meeting has been cancelled. The decision was made because a replacement couldn’t be found for Posie.

Honestly, I’m absolutely gutted. We (there were three of us at a local level) worked really, really hard to make this happen. Posie was our choice, we really wanted to hear her. The decision to remove her was entirely out of our hands and it’s been a mess since then.

My priority, after the decision to cancel Posie was made, despite my own personal feelings, was to make sure the attendees had a chance at the event going ahead. I felt responsible for that - I’ve spoken to many of you personally to try and make sure you had safe escort to the event. Unfortunately all I’ve received off the back of that is a load of backlash and accusations.

Everyone who attended should have an email with my email address in it (WPUK said they would pass this on). We (the local
Organisers) want to try and do something off the back of this and not let the hard work go to waste. We want to build up an online network and try and hold our own meetings.

The meeting is ON!
We have some speakers (still working on the exact same panel so stay with me...).
Same location, same date and time.

Please could everyone contact those they knew who were attending and also stick this on social media? We need to crack on as time is short.
