Apparently the Alt-Right and 4-Chan are using MN.
I think it's just one person who controls their tweets. I really hope that the top Lib Dems know what's being said.

ah poor things.

perhaps someone should tell them that if they can not cope with people disagreeing with them, them politics may not be the best place for them.

53rdWay · 02/04/2018 23:13

I love the idea that MN feminist boards are gender critical because we’ve been radicalised, like we were all sitting round twirling our hair and exchanging lemon meringue pie recipes before the real TERFs showed up to corrupt us.

Is there a secret TERF HQ somewhere sending out agents?

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 02/04/2018 23:16

thbewilderness

That's virtually what i said Grin

I actually said ' so they are not telling you to avoid reddit or pistonheads...just mumsnet, a mainly female forum...thats weird isnt it?'

OlennasWimple · 02/04/2018 23:26

Well, I've been cutting my own hair (not in a pony tail on the top of my head, I do a low pony tail instead, for soft layers around my face not Sam Fox c1985 short layers Grin ) before I had even heard of TRAs or GRCs or self-ID. I've always been good at stretching out a roast chicken, and I know why AnyFucker is called AnyFucker

I've never had mum boots though, and I don't really like the scarf...

Does this mean that I am radicalised or not?

womanhuman · 02/04/2018 23:37

olenna could you find a pombear at short notice?

BoreOfWhabylon · 02/04/2018 23:39

I want to know what we will be radicalised about next?

Our bullshit system of rape trials?
The complete lack of awareness surrounding perinatal suicide?
Assaults and lack of privacy on maternity wards?
The erasure of women once they go through the menopause?

I am radicalised Reign of Terror Rebecca, here me ROAR.

About to hit a big milestone, radicalise yourself by signing.

CallPrevent · 02/04/2018 23:48

Why are so many conspiracy theory fans so active in political parties?

CircleSquareCircleSquare · 02/04/2018 23:49

Yes some people would say it should be “hear me roar” but as I’m a “biological essentialist” I have gone full cavewoman. HERE (right here), me (I) ROAR.
Don’t come for me Lib Dems, I met Paddy Ashdown at a supper once. I resigned the party the next day. Wink

2rebecca · 02/04/2018 23:53

Didn't know there was a mumsnet hairdo until this thread. Never heard of 4chan. Have just been watching channel 4. Good new series on virtual reality fiction. Usually more BBC4 though. The Lib Dems are coming across as very unliberal re women. Do they need a new name as they don't seem keen on democracy if people who disagree with them get a vote either.

CircleSquareCircleSquare · 02/04/2018 23:54

Unliberal Himocrats?

GrimDamnFanjo · 03/04/2018 00:01

They've always had a woman hating fringe. The hq can't do a thing about that twitter feed, not that they'd be likely to anyway.

Sashkin · 03/04/2018 00:07

I am more surprised that they have managed to find 4 Lib Dems to run the twitter account. Why does it take 4 of them? Shouldn’t the other 3 be out canvassing or something? I don’t think I’ve seen one in the flesh since about 2012.

SpringNowPlease2018 · 03/04/2018 00:09

Bore, that made me lol so hard!

Captain, I like it

Mind if I do a variation?

Mumsnet Mandy
Cooked chicken on Monday
Ate it on Tuesday
Ate it on Wednesday
Ate it on Thursday
Ate it on Friday
Ate it on Saturday
Died on Sunday
That was the end of Mumsnet Mandy

Disclaimer - I'm childfree and I no longer eat chicken but when I did I could make it feed 27 people all week Grin

SpringNowPlease2018 · 03/04/2018 00:11

Sashkin "I am more surprised that they have managed to find 4 Lib Dems to run the twitter account"

I think there's enough of them to fill a black cab so I guess this is what they do outside Parliament.

CircleSquareCircleSquare · 03/04/2018 00:11

She’d have that goddamn chicken at the wake though, right?

SpringNowPlease2018 · 03/04/2018 00:16

Grim "They've always had a woman hating fringe"

Must be why the haircut doesn't work.

Circle, sorry, I forgot to mention, there will be enough chicken left to serve at the wake. Do please check the parking restrictions beforehand though.

Ereshkigal · 03/04/2018 00:16

I've also got a nice red Mumsnet style scarf. That was where it started. Now look at me, radicalised.

SpringNowPlease2018 · 03/04/2018 00:16

In fact l'll pop a diagram in the Will.....

Ereshkigal · 03/04/2018 00:18

^I think it should forever more be known as 'The Mumsnet Test' =
The level of contempt 'for mums debating' is in direct correlation with the level of misogyny^

This this this.
