Apparently the Alt-Right and 4-Chan are using MN.
I think it's just one person who controls their tweets. I really hope that the top Lib Dems know what's being said.

Not content with alienating the entire youth vote the Lib Dems are now apparently hoping to piss off whatever proportion of the population is female with children

TheRagingGirl · 02/04/2018 21:50

Goodness me! Women daring to talk to each other. How very dare they! Thanks for posting this OP.

Solidarity!

Schlimbesserung · 02/04/2018 21:50

What's the Mumsnet haircut?

PencilsInSpace · 02/04/2018 21:51

I did the MN haircut once and it was a fucking disaster. Do not attempt if you have a low hairline.

Thank goodness #manfriday came to the rescue and showed me how I too could have a simple smart cut for £6 at my local barbers Smile

They've got it all wrong on the radicalisation thing. Everybody knows this is MN home grown radicalisation and that our secret cabal enlisted Venice to spread the word to poor innocent ladies like Sheila Jeffreys and Julia Long. And that all this happened last week.

No wonder they can't keep up!

Fucking nobbers.

AssignedPuuurfectAtBirth · 02/04/2018 21:52

Again, the whole argument is that women (the stupid kind) are being radicalised by other women (the evil bad bad kind) on a site for women (all of whom should be the submissive kind)

And they should also be told not to talk about those biological thingybobs. Cos, transphobic and all that. Got it?

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 02/04/2018 21:53

I don't know what the haircut is either. And I've been here FOREVER

CapnHaddock · 02/04/2018 21:53

Have you got Saltwater sandals? Do you try (and fail) to stretch a chicken over 27 meals? Have you tried the Mumsnet haircut? Do you have an opinion on parking? Were you baffled by that pink M&S dress?

YOU TOO COULD BE RADICALISED!

OMFG!!! That's how you got me! (although I never tried that haircut thing - I'm not that stupid)

Waddlelikeapenguin · 02/04/2018 21:54

This is brilliant Grin
Also nice they are separating terfs from cis women so we only get one insult per WOMAN Hmm

CapnHaddock · 02/04/2018 21:55

Sorry Pencils, you're not stupid. You were clearly under the spell of the radicalisation agenda (I'm actually a haircut coward)

Certain - you do something like put your hair in a ponytail on top of your head and chop it off. Possibly.

HairyBallTheorem · 02/04/2018 21:56

From what I can work out, the haircut involves putting your hair into a pony tail starting from the crown of your head (best accomplished by leaning forward so your hair dangles down and applying the hair band), then cutting in a straight line across the pony tail. In theory the results should be instant layers. Not sure how it works in practice, but it seems that Pencils did not find it good. (I actually do cut my own hair, but not in a MN haircut: I go for a straight line across the back at waist level, with a fringe at the front.)

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 02/04/2018 21:57

Oh yeah!

I do that to dd. Only at the back.

I am MUMSNET.

HairyBallTheorem · 02/04/2018 21:57

Cross post with Capn ... or was it? Perhaps we have been reading from the same radicalisation pamphlets. Coincidence? I think not!

PerspicaciaTick · 02/04/2018 21:57

Once upon a time, when MN had a youtube channel, there was even a video of the haircut.

Ellenripleysalienbaby · 02/04/2018 21:57

I always remember the poster who said they tried the Mumsnet haircut and ended up looking like Cadfael!

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 02/04/2018 21:58

I've met you Pencils. I'm not sure you could do that haircut anymore than I could Wink

CallPrevent · 02/04/2018 21:58

Tie your hair up with a hairband then cut, MN haircut.

Hey Lib Dems, I am not voting for anyone who calls a woman a cis or cissy Hmm and ignores both basic biology and reality. Signed a Mummy that was radicalized in an own goal by authoritarian TRAs that attempted to appropriate a group full of women. Happily we are still going and no TRAs are allowed.

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 02/04/2018 21:58

Sorry what? Shock Maybe I'm not as radicalised as I thought

Ellenripleysalienbaby · 02/04/2018 21:58

I used to do the MN haircut all the time when I had long hair. The trick is to only take a tiny bit off at a time.

KnittedBobbleHat · 02/04/2018 22:00

I tried the haircut once. As my hair was chopped from my head, I came to know, in a flash of inspiration....that Transwomen are not women! And lo I became radicalized!

AssignedPuuurfectAtBirth · 02/04/2018 22:00

The Lib Dems can go fuck themselves with whatever gender dick they prefer

BlackeyedSusan · 02/04/2018 22:01

put it in a pony tail front centre of forehead. cut straight across. instant layers. or looking like Cadfael

CigarsofthePharoahs · 02/04/2018 22:03

Aren't we all supposed to have scarves as well?
I've been radicalised, I can't eat lemon drizzle cake without giggling.

BlackeyedSusan · 02/04/2018 22:03

and I do magic chicken. excellent at magic chicken.

CircleSquareCircleSquare · 02/04/2018 22:07

If you’re not punching cakes have you really been radicalised?

PencilsInSpace · 02/04/2018 22:07

Also nice they are separating terfs from cis women so we only get one insult per WOMAN

Oh that's interesting Waddles, is this a sideways acknowledgement that terfs are not cis (because we have thunk about stuff)?

I've been a bit Hmm about the terf thing because of the whole choke on my dick / DIAF vibe but if means we don't have to be cis I might reconsider.
