I am so tired of reading nonsense, responding to nonsense, trying to argue with people who spout nonsense.

I have been looking at wikipedia for stats about trans murders. In the UK, I think there have been 3 or 4 on the past 10 years. The one in recent days may have been a sex-worker according to Twitter. I remember the TIM lawyer who was pushed under a train in 2010. I was a lawyer at the time and he was very well respected (and at work, he remained male). He was actually murdered by another trans identified male. The others I can find were murdered by people known to them.

There are higher numbers in the US, but the US has a much higher population and a higher homicide rate. Many were sex-workers. There simply is no homicide campaign against trans people, definitely not in the UK.

Also, if Jane thinks it's so tragic that a TIM possibly working as a sex worker was murdered, would Jane spare a thought for the many many female sex workers who are beaten, raped, murdered every day of the year by clients and pimps. Thought not. Jane probably believes they have cis privilege.

Most of the time I am quite hardened to all this revolting stuff. I can just be blunt about it and rude to the horrible piece of humanity that posted/said it.

But this particular piece of despicable misogyny has really upset me. I feel a bit sick and my eyes are stinging.

Fae isn't even correct about DVA murders. They are all pre-meditated, because DVA is pre-meditated. No-one accidentally smacks their wife/partner about. The trope of "man losing control" is just more misogynist bullshit designed to deflect blame from where it should be: the perpetrator onto the victim.

Victim blaming of murdered women is so easy for violent men, they can't answer back, and usually, the men have done such a good job of destroying the woman's life, friendships and credibility that people buy into the "she made me do it" narrative.

Well if ever you needed evidence that

a. women's lives are worth less than men's lives and that

b. everyone inlcuding TIMs knows TIMs are men

Totally not apologising for this pile of shit but "eggshell skull" is a legal term based on a case where the (male) person who was murdered had an unusually thin skull. It was deemed that it was still murder even though a lesser blow wouldn't have killed a person with a typical skull.
This pile of drivel uses it in the wrong context too as the case that set the precedent was a man. So whoops, i didnt realise a lady head was so delicate yer'onour, please forgive my excessive use of the murder weapon, doesnt wash here.
