Transcript of her interrogation disciplinary interview with Labour on above link.

The term Orwellian is way overused, but I think it is actually applicable here.

Particularly noticeable to me was the insistence on not just looking at the the facts, but at what she was thinking. I didn't realise thought crime was a thing outside of dystopian fiction.

I feel sorry for Venice, it came across that Labour was very much part of who she was.

just listened to your recording Jen

It's extremely clear that you have been suspended basically for calling attention to the equality act and to Labour's own rules

I already knew what was going on of course but still hearing it like that has left me a little bit speechless

Perfectly normal comments and criticisms of an ideology, turned into a burn the witch scenario.

Absolutely Datun. It seems to me that the interviewers had been primed to put the worst possible construction on offhand remarks or normal social media back and forth in order to give themselves an excuse to kick V and J out.

Datun · 08/03/2018 22:13

The thing is women don't generally go around calling people cunts and bitches and hoping they die and coming up with impressively creative tortures connected their genitals.

They just don't.

The terfisaslur website simply isn't a woman kinda thang.

And gentle critical feminists are really, really the last people to be habitually abusive. It's laughable.

woman11017 · 08/03/2018 22:16

It's disgusting
Very similar to what happened in 1930s Weimar.

MrsOvarall · 08/03/2018 22:38

I'm speechless for the second time today. What is happening to Labour? Jennifer, I listened to the whole thing. Your suspension is outrageous. It was interesting how the interviewer noticeably softened towards you as the interview went on.

HomeTerf · 08/03/2018 22:40

Can you imagine if LM's twitter feed was subjected to the same scrutiny??

In awe of Venice and Jennifer for remaining calm and dignified in the face of such terrifying absurdity.

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 08/03/2018 23:00

Can you imagine if LM's twitter feed was subjected to the same scrutiny??

I'm baffled as to how the labour men (and transwomen) are allowed to get away with the hateful shit that they spout, yet women are silenced & sanctioned almost immediately for fuck all.

SweetGrapes · 08/03/2018 23:04

Jennifer, you are so patient and calm! My blood pressure is shooting just listening to the transcript!

LM is a joke. Can't even answer a simple question coherently.

BeUpStanding · 08/03/2018 23:08

Read Venice's transcript and listened to Jennifer's audio... It is terrifying.

BeUpStanding · 08/03/2018 23:11

You were both brilliant by the way! Articulate and intelligent. The questions were ludicrous - but the thing I cannot get my head round at all is the hypocrisy! The abuse thrown at women is entirely ignored, whereas the most innocuous comment about a trans person is a hate crime. Yes I know we say that all the time on here but there was something so utterly chilling about listening to it in action.

SweetGrapes · 08/03/2018 23:20

Yes, both brilliant. And soo calm in the face of ludicrous, scrapping the barrel type charges

It's all about the reputation of the labour party and feelz of the TIMs.

AssignedPuuurfectAtBirth · 08/03/2018 23:34

Why has it been removed?

It says removed 'by the user'

Can i find it anywhere else?

TERFragetteCity · 08/03/2018 23:52

it was on you tube just a few mins ago

AssignedPuuurfectAtBirth · 08/03/2018 23:55

Can you link? The other one doesn't work

JenniferJames · 08/03/2018 23:55

'Jennifer, you are so patient and calm'

adjusts halo lol

I rehearsed it with two tones the day before: 'aggressive' and 'reasonable'. My fella and bff were like 'FUCK NO DO NOT USE THE AGGRESSIVE ONE'. Same words tho'. :-)

Youtube vid down for the night, one more thing to edit. Thank you for the support. Think we're gonna win?

terfing · 09/03/2018 00:01

Would Venice be able to sue for this? That interview is appalling!

FlorisApple · 09/03/2018 00:41

I've seen a lot to shock me in this whole debate.....but this has really shocked me. Modern day McCarthyism in action. It's appalling. What are they so afraid of that we can't be allowed to speak? It's chilling in so many ways.

TruScum · 09/03/2018 05:19

I have also flounced from labour but will happily keep donating for as long as is needed to see this through.

thebewilderness · 09/03/2018 05:43

That inquisition appears to me to be a violation of their own anti discrimination policies as well as harassment.

Itsbeenaverylongweek · 09/03/2018 07:22

Absolutely shocking and something that mainstream media needs to pick up on and expose.
I wonder are the TIMs/TRAs of the Labour Party being more organised and targeted in their complaining? Could this be another reason why J&V are being dealt with while their own complaints are ignored? Maybe before the resignations go in, there could be mass complaints about certain people's twitter feeds/bullying comments etc

ChattyLion · 09/03/2018 07:58

This whole thing is utterly shameful. Is this how Labour wants to be known? Surely there must also be policies of the Labour Party that would prohibit this kind of victimising of it’s members as well?

Please please can those affected try to get wider media attention for this. Feels like a very very scary slippery slope that public life is heading down.

Currently it’s about Labour Party membership which is bad enough, but if self ID becomes the law presumably anyone’s HR department can hold a similar discussion about gender critical personal politics if they were minded to?

This is very frightening with historical parallels as PP have said.

Ereshkigal · 09/03/2018 08:57

It really needs to go viral. So scary.

ChattyLion · 09/03/2018 09:17

Oh and I am now writing to my MP again on this matter and hope posters and lurkers will do the same if they have concerns. This shit is totally unacceptable.

FeministBadger · 09/03/2018 09:50

I remember reading about the kangaroo courts dealing with sexual assault in the SWP which firmly blamed the female victims and shamed them for bringing attention to what had happened and being horrified - I never thought I'd see the day where something similar happened in Labour. WTF.

Batteriesallgone · 09/03/2018 09:55

Contacted my Labour MP.

This is just crazy.
