Yay! Thanks @DuncinToffee
Should this be moved to the Sports Discussion Forum? Or maybe you could persuade MNHQ to start a board for Women's football/sports generally?

SpindleInTheWind · 01/08/2022 14:33

Checking in. I don't mind where it goes really, so long as posters can find it if they look.

wonderstuff · 01/08/2022 14:38

Thanks for this, just discussing going to a match with dd, we’re in between Reading and Southampton.

Dalaidramailama · 01/08/2022 16:12

My niece plays for Coventry United. 😁

Both games will be good openers, and good news is with the WC starting two weeks earlier, you can go to both teams opening games 😁

Feetache · 01/08/2022 21:39

Look out for big derby games in the main stadiums... Liverpool v Everton and City v Utd are two coming up

Rooster25 · 01/08/2022 21:46

All games on 25th September are being played at the big stadiums…👀

Hmmph · 01/08/2022 22:24

Excellent - thanks!

Does anyone else find the FA women’s website really clunky?!

it was totally inaccessible on Sunday night I noticed!

Is there an app that does it better? I have the Euros one which shows WWC fixtures but not WSL afaik.

DuncinToffee · 02/08/2022 10:18

Try the FA player app

It's still clunky but better than the website

Thanks for the recommendations :)

I probably can’t afford to go to any of the games atm (travel costs mostly) but I’ll champion women’s football in anyway I can.

I liked this piece re women’s football in the guardian today: www.theguardian.com/football/2022/aug/02/england-wembley-euro-2022-triumph-journey-reporting

The Dutch national team has parted ways with Mark Parsons, can't say I am surprised, it wasn't working.

Yes. No surprise there. Can't believe the Norway coach is still in job, though!
