And hello 👋 all the new peeps 😁

PintOfMineralWater · 09/05/2018 09:20

Thanks @EddSimcox. Glad it's working for you!

LoudBatPerson · 09/05/2018 14:23

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone Smile

I did my first weekly weigh in on Saturday and lost 4.6lb which I am very happy with.

I am not so confident for this week though. I have been really active and also ate well, but I am sluggish down there and feel bloated and heavy Sad.

Paperdolly · 09/05/2018 14:58

I'm feeling bloated today (weigh in day 🙄). I've been struggling to drop the weight for a couple of weeks. I'm going to be really good at maintaining once I get there; I've been practicing like mad! 😂

4.6lb is awesome!

Well I've used all my weeklies (weigh in day was Monday and it's now Thursday morning). But I've lost another 1kg since Monday. So I'm definitely going to eat some of my activity points over the weekend.

Buuut resolving to be better next week, and also hold off the weighing as I tend to obsess.

errorofjudgement · 10/05/2018 06:47

Great result @LoudBat!

Well my first big challenge tonight, meeting up with a group of friends & one is cooking for us, so I’ve no choice in the food - and the wine flows freely at these evenings!

raindropsandsunshine · 10/05/2018 08:04

Oh hi! I joined two weeks ago, the first week was learning, the second week included bank holiday excuses, so now here I am just remembering that I'm meant to be following the plan!

MissesBloom · 10/05/2018 09:51

Hi all.... New here... Hope its OK to join you all.
Started ww flex a week ago last Friday and lost 9lbsShock was all pleased with myself until I've just weighed myself (a few days before weigh in) and have somehow put on 3lbs? So confused now Sad thought I had it worked out a little more. Been walking like crazy and been on plan apart from Fri and Sat which I'd thought I'd made up for.

Absolutely gutted.

I feel like I'm somehow getting it wrong and dinner is always a sticking point in our house we're bored of chicken and I hate fish.

Missushb · 10/05/2018 21:52

Hi 👋. Just joined ww tonight, and I think I had this question last time too; do you start your week from today, so weeklies start today, or from the day after you get weighed? Meaning; does your week start fresh on the day you get weighed, or the next day? Thanks everyone x

EddSimcox · 11/05/2018 16:34

missesbloom so overall you've lost 6lbs in under 2 weeks? That's brilliant. What's probably happened is that you lost a lot of water in the first week. 9lbs that quick was never going to stay off! but you are doing amazingly if you've lost 6, so focus on that. you'll find you're back at the 9lb loss in no time.

miss I weigh in the morning and start the new week that day but I guess it might be different for people who weigh-in at night?

Tiredofit · 11/05/2018 21:24

Hi, can I join you. I started on Monday and have signed up, online, for 12 months because, lets face it, it's going to take that long as I hope to lose 5 stone. I had a bit of a difficult start to the week as I didn't have a lot of free stuff in but that's sorted and I'm doing ok.

bluelampshades · 12/05/2018 11:11

Hi all, quick question.
My points have dropped yet again with my weight loss. I'm now on 21 a day. Does anyone know what is the lowest they can drop to?
thanks

bluelampshades · 12/05/2018 11:23

ah its all ok. The online coach got me sorted. 23 is the lowest dailies anyone will have . 21 are my weeklies.

errorofjudgement · 12/05/2018 12:10

So after over indulging on Thursday, weight loss has slowed to a pound this week. Still a loss though so will hold onto that thought and hope for a little more next week.

Paperdolly · 15/05/2018 19:51

Hello and welcome to all the newbies here. 👍🏻

I'm pleased to say I lost my first stone last week. 😁

Let's go girls!!!

Weigh in later. I just want to have NOT put weight on. 🙄

ladyme · 16/05/2018 19:23

I'd put on a lb today and tried not to be disappointed as I really don't think it was justified! Am trying to just keep on keeping on and hopefully will lose a biggish amount next week.

My leader was good about it though - just said it happens, but then in the group she said something like "ah, we've all had a gain at times, no big deal" and two different people piped up with "well I haven't?"!! Fuck off creeps!

Why would you do that?

Anyway! Good luck all and happy flexing!

Paperdolly · 16/05/2018 21:53

Ladyme. I put 1lb on aswell. 🙁

I couldn't stop snacking on the WW nibbles!! I've been having the 1 point ones...but 5 at a time. 😳. And not pointing em.

I've done lots of exercise but the snacks weren't cancelled out.

Let's shift some for next week and show them!!

OP posts:
PintOfMineralWater · 17/05/2018 03:13

I lost another 1kg, and that's with eating all my weeklies and 30 fit points. However, past weightloss attempts tell me I will now get complacent, so I'm trying to stick to just weeklies this week!

ladyme · 17/05/2018 07:45

Oh @Paperdolly at least I'm in good company!

I'm sure we can stick to it for this week though and see a loss. I'm not sure where I went wrong but maybe drank too much wine in the sun! Always a sucker for that. Will make sure this week is more sedate.

EddSimcox · 17/05/2018 08:13

Keep on keeping on people! I had v slight gain last week but 1.1kg loss this week. Phew. There are lots of factors which determine your weight on any one day, just need to keep going and it all works in the end (if you stick to the plan ;) ) ... I hope anyway. Still a long way to go!

Tiredofit · 17/05/2018 13:40

Ten days in and the first chance I have had to weigh myself this morning and I've lost 1lb! I can't help feeling a bit disappointed. I've been careful just to have my berries in the morning and one other piece of fruit each day and not eating large amounts of no point foods. I've been swimming 4 times a week for the last 2 weeks and haven't eaten any fit points. I've signed up for a year so will just keep on going.

errorofjudgement · 19/05/2018 09:40

So WI this morning and I’ve lost a pound, again. Feeling a bit fed up as I’ve been on track all week, & used hardly any of my weeklies.
What’s the general view on weeklies? I’ve been focusing on zero point foods but maybe I should use my weeklies instead?

Lambbone · 21/05/2018 14:56

I posted at the very beginning of this thread in January, when I went to my first ever WW meeting, and was horrified to discover that I weighed 15st 2lb. No wonder I was getting a fat back, which was the catalyst to considering weight loss.

At weigh in on Friday I was 12st 6 1/2 lb. Over 2 1/2 stone lost in four months.

I am feeling very pleased with myself, and have been pleasantly surprised at how easy the programme has been to follow.

I would recommend WW to anyone who wants to lose some weight.

(Next weigh-in could be interesting though. Went away for the weekend and have -14 weeklies left Blush. Four days to claw them back with rollovers!)

Paperdolly · 21/05/2018 15:19

In awe of you Lambone. 👍🏻
