Is there one of these already? I started WW online the day after Boxing Day which was the best or the worst idea I've ever had. I can't decide.
I have a lot of weight to loose and am finding it hard to get motivated, i have been sticking to my points, so thought I would start a support thread!

I'm going to see what happens next week. I'm not sure on portion sizes, I do think they're probably on the large side, but I'm only eating until I'm full and they're definitely MUCH smaller than when I was doing slimming world. I did put my food into the calculator on the app for a few days and I was within my pro points, although I did guesstimate portion sizes, but I have a rough idea of how much things weigh due to SW.

I might try a couple of days points this week. The thing is, I hate being hungry and the reason I didn't do weight watchers before was that I was always hungry when I did it years ago.

I hear you! I have quite small portion sizes now but I bulk it out with a LOT of veg, for example I grate carrot and courgette into my bolognaise instead of eating big portions of pasta, wherever poss. Sounds like you''ve got the right idea anyway so good luck!

Well I put that 3lb on the next week when I went on holiday and it didn't budge last week, a quick look on the scales at work today suggests it still!l hasn't. Sigh! How are you getting in?

Well I got weighed again on Weds and was dead on my goal weight so had put on 1.5lb. Had a bad weekend but need to be back on it.... Have been on the exercise though.

Thanks, I hope so - youre still doing so well, youre still at goal!

Im pretty sure that 3lb loss a few weeks ago was a blip, I dont think it was entirely accurate, im hoping that after a few weeks ill just have a big drop. Fingers crossed anyway!

Hi everyone! Can I join I've put on at least 3 pounds last week. It's my own fault. I went wild! Chinese, sandwiches, McDonalds and wine!

Oh God I need to get my mindset back into WW! I have still been going but have let it slide a little bit (a lot!).

I can't stop craving ice lollies in this heat and it's making me ruin all my efforts! Going to try and be healthy, ie have proper food rather than sugar-free type stuff. NEED to get back on the bandwagon now, I've got six weeks until I'm a bridesmaid! Got down to 9st3 but I think I've put on about half a stone since April...

SuperDuperJezebel · 21/07/2014 13:24

You can do it, 7lb in 6 weeks is totally doable!

Thanks Jezebel!

I weighed in last night and am now 9st9 (I'm a v little 5'2 so I genuinely do look heavier than I would like - creeping up to size 12 when I have to get into a size 10 bridesmaid dress!

I went to weigh-in last night and have started cycling to work as well and am trying to drink tonnes of water to stop the sweet cravings...

Good work!I lost 4lb this week, I only have 2lb to goal. My goal weight is 10 st 2 (top of healthy bmi being 10 stone 3!)and I'm only an inch taller than you! However i set that goal when I started WW at 18 stone 4,so that looked like a distant dream to me. I think I'd like to there, ór thereabouts, until after my wedding and then maybe try to get down to 9stone 2, mainly so I can say ive lost half my body weight! As it is tho, everything is looking pretty much the size and shape I want, apart from round my middle. So to lose another stone would make the rest of me look possibly too thin, probably my best to try and work on toning up instead?

I haven't posted here for ages, have gone a bit off track this summer. I had my birthday last week and put on 3lb this week. Trying to draw a line under it and get back on track. It is hard though!

Hi all, haven't checked in for a whole now, had two weeks of staying the same which was disappointing. Got weighed last night and now have lost 4lbs making 40lbs total in about 14 weeks!!! Nearly three stone! I feel great but I guess my body thinks of this regime as normal now so need to recalibrate a bit.
So much has been happened, have been made redundant, got a new job and haven't binged! Off on hols in September too!
Welcome back fluffy and your almost there super! Exciting

I have had SUCH a good week - loads of veg, lots and lots of exercise - I just can't stay aay from ice lollies in this heat!!

I've made some banana lollies but it's JUST not the same as a Feast, which the WW mag says is 8 propoints, oh dear!! Well done everyone on their losses!

Ooh Halle I had one last night and it was DELISH!

I bought a book called The Sugar Detox today which I am hoping will give me some ideas about staying away from sugar. I put on two lbs last night so despite my efforts those Cornettos were clearly not good!

I did get a bit annoyed last night at group, the session was about foreign foods and my group was given Mexican food and had to come up with REALISTIC ways of making it healthier. I said 'Stick to things like salsa, salad, wholemeal tortilla, black beans and guacamole' and someone completely jumped down my throat saying avocado was REALLY bad for you. I was a bit Confused because although they are high fat I can't imagine anyone put weight on from just eating guacamole - plus it is far healthier in terms of minerals etc than, say, a Magnum Blush even if the calories are the same surely?

Lots of diets like avocados. I spoke to someone about nutrition last year and she suggested to eat lots. I think they make you full so you don't need to eat lots of other crap..... Its just the fat content WW hates.

Report
Trainersandaches · 29/07/2014 21:56

That is what I thought Halle, I was a bit shy and couldn't enunciate myself properly in the meeting but avocados have fibre, good fats and minerals and vitamins as well as making you feel full.

For me, avocados certainly aren't the reason I became overweight!
