New thread before old one is full.

I did Day 1

Much more fun than Davina poncing about! I LOVE it!

Hope I get good results - I can just fit in 30 days before the end of term when my life will no longer be my own...

When you have done it every day for 30 days can you just do it 3 times a week to keep your results iyswim? Off to your old thread for more info!

Naetha · 28/06/2010 20:51

First day of level 3 and actually found it much easier than level 2. Not sure why, but I like it!

the only think I have a problem with is the full sit up - it makes my coccyx feel really uncomfortable (but not actually hurt), as if there's a great big lump there. Should I just do crunches instead?

Looking forwards to being fully shredded!

Tortoise · 28/06/2010 22:05

Day 7 completed! Still finding it hard going in this heat but nothing i can do about that. Had to shred as missed the last 2 days and felt guilty!

Had 3 glasses of red after a day in sun last night and I think the combination of alcohol and deydration has made me feel like an utter wreck this morning, am I ok to miss one of is Jillian going to find me and punish me somehow?

Maryqueenofchocs · 29/06/2010 08:42

See I cant even spell...I mean 'or' not 'of'.

Skimummy · 29/06/2010 09:29

I think she will punish you Maryqueenofchocs. Best to get it over and done with.

This weather is making me very lethargic. I did level 1 this morning and felt like I could barely lift my legs. DH has a new game - guessing which level I did based on how red and sweaty I am afterwards.

Does everyone else Shred with their DC around? My DD is 21 months and was up for the last 5 mins or so this morning and thought it was hilarious. The last time I did it with her near me though she tried to do some of the exercises, which was hilarious, but she otherwise tends to get in the way a bit. Just wondering what everyone else does...

I still haven't managed to go for a run as well . Too hot for me...unless I went at around 8pm...that's probably not going to happen!

notyummy · 29/06/2010 10:18

I sometimes shred with DD (nearly 4) around. She also joins a bit and then gets bored. Having always exercised with her around since she was tiny, she knows to stay out of the way (mostly) and unless she is tied or hungry, will let me put in up to a 45 minute workout undisturbed. Sometimes she potters in with things to show me, and as long as I can muster a spluttered 'very nice/lovely' then she is satisfied.

Tortoise · 29/06/2010 11:26

I wait until all children are in bed. Couldn't do it during the day when they are at school, someone might see me through the window lol!

so ladies, I have been told by tort and madamC that I need to do this.

I have questions.
do I need to loose some weight first?
I am now appauled to be 13.6 stone at 5ft 7.
very wobbly and should be a size 18 but am clinging to my 16s for dear life.

have started to change my eating habits today and had started to wii fit.

HUGE boobs are an issue but I do have a very good sports bra and good trainers.

realistically am I likely to loose 20lb's in a month? (or even close?)

YAY that sounds good!

thanks everything.

Tortoise · 29/06/2010 21:54

Greyskull No need to loose weight 1st. Just jump in!
Not sure about actual weight loss but you should notice a change in shape. I have completed the 30 days once. Lost about 5lbs i think and 1/2 inch off (each) arms, waist, thighs and hips. Now on 2nd round!

Not shredding tonight though. Cycled about 3 miles earlier and my knees are very sore. Shredding is really causing me problems with knee pain.

OP posts:
jooseyfruit · 29/06/2010 22:03

oh my knees have been really sore (4 th day of level 3)

wearing trainers now, less painful.

Maryqueenofchocs · 30/06/2010 08:42

Day 6 today, level 1, feeling ok, not lost any weight though...fat turning to muscle I suppose, would have liked to have lost just 1 measly lb though!

I'm using 5lb weights on level 1 and finding them ok, am I kidding myself I can use them on level 2? Are the strength bits much harder on level 2? Do I need to go and buy 2.5lbs?

Jazzicatz · 30/06/2010 08:50

Ooooh can I join? I have just bought the dvd and have completed two days of Level 1 Today I am cycling but back to it tomorrow. I find my muscles hurt a bit but not too bad, find the cardio sections the hardest at the moment.
