Welcome Jazzicatz!

Level 2 this morning and it was a bit of a chore as I really did not want to get out of bed. However, the joy of the Shred is that you are on to Circuit 3 in no time.

My shoulders were seriously sore this morning. I had to use my lighter weights to do the cheerleader v raise things...I really do not enjoy them.

Now am wondering whether anyone will notice if I curl up under my desk for a quick snooze. I blame the weather.

Hope everyone else is doing well!

Day 8 done tonight. Hell it is hot and muggy! Think i managed a bit better tonight. Just 2 days until i am back to WO 2!

Level 3 this morning and after my post pondering how to cope with DD around...she decided to join me! It wasn't so bad except for when I was doing push-ups and she decided to add some weight to my shoulders while saying "up, down, up down". That said, I think I may do level 3 again tomorrow as I didn't feel I gave it my all!

everything I should add that I sometimes use my 1kg weights when I am tooooo lazy tired

Day 6 Level 1, feeling comfortable....Should I stick with Level 1, or skip to level 2 to push myself?

Day 4 Level 1 - done

Still on easy version pushups and finding the last abs set a bit challenging but otherwise all good! Using 2kg weights and finding that OK. Going to do the full 10 days on each level and hope I am able to do the proper push-ups by then...nothin' you can't do

JustBeachy I am still on easy push ups! And i am on second circuit . Slowly getting a bit better at them!

I find the arm bit harder than abs too. Look forward to crunches just so i can lay down lol!

Day 5 level 1 - done!

It's just the cycling abs thing I find tricky - think it may be lack of co-ordination as much as anything much better on that bit today tho - yay!

I'm not moving on from easy push-ups yet...it's probably having to lift the weight of my fat bum that makes push-ups harder for me

tortoise I like that lying down strength move for a bit of a rest lol!

Hi all can I join? Had the DVD for 4 days and have done it every day. Day 1 was awful, days 2 & 3 easier and then yesterday was really tough. Got through it though.

Am going on holiday on 7th August. Do you think I'll look any better if I keep this up between now and then?

Day 7, skipped to level 2. Did ok, although did easy plank thingys...have crap core stability.

Also finding it hard to balance on many of the moves, again because my core is so weak i suspect. 5lb weights fine though, so have arm strength but nothing else!!

Camera spends far too much time on hard natalie and not enough on easy anita for my liking...

Is the jump from Level 1 to 2 really that much harder as I am getting confident with level !?

Jazz it was fine, don't worry. If you are finding level 1 ok, then although the moves require more concentration, the intensity of the workout is similar if you start with the lower impact easier moves.

If you go straight to the high impact version of the workout then yes, the jump is quite significant.

I've started back on level 1 after a long break. I finfd it a bit of a struggle to get going in this heat!
