MamaG - just respond to each email from your annoying colleague with Hokeycokey and see whose head implodes first....

AitchTwoZone · 17/04/2010 21:29

lol dinky.
and cannellini. nice cheap ones from lidl.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 17/04/2010 21:35

Thanks Aitch - couldn't remember and too lazy to try to find it on opus magnus. Feeling the love for Lidl atm. They sell nice friut and veg. And got some clear shoe boxes veh cheap. Oh my exciting life.

AitchTwoZone · 17/04/2010 21:44

i really adore it, went shopping in tesco the other day and was shocked that it was such a transparent rip off.

did get a couple of ace layering type cardies though.

AitchTwoZone · 17/04/2010 21:50

bloody hell does EVERYTHING lsos at tesco?!

it's great, really light so will be fab for pulling on in summer, i wore it with shift dress and short leggings and ballet pumps the other day in a non-ironic Kids From Fame homage the other day and felt great. for some reason they have pulled it across the body but of course irl it actually hangs open just to the side of the boobs in hugely slimming fashion.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 17/04/2010 22:10

Cheese selection is fab - not that I'm eating much of it atm. I like it because it's what supermarkets were like when I was a kid. A bit of a mess and no bloody marketing. My sister has a thing for the curried herring (boak).

Nice cardi - what colours did you get?

Is it me or are things a bit testy on here tonight?

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 17/04/2010 22:16

I biffed out good and proper at curry house yest. Proper hangover this mornign too - didn't clear until about 10am after cup of sweet tea and lie on the sofa. Was like being a student again
Am emphatically NOT weighing self until at least MOnday.
Had great day in sun today, finishing marking (crap) and m'book about Scott of Antarctic (tissues) Tomorrow watching dd1 in Brownie St G's day parade and lying about. Hopefully in more glorious sunshine. Oh, and not eating much, natch.

AitchTwoZone · 17/04/2010 22:29

black and grey. i've not ventured off my 'threads i'm on', is it all kicking off out there? i think dp is unsettling the whole site, tbh.

AitchTwoZone · 17/04/2010 22:32

sounds lovely, gherk. i feel like i've pushed my luck a bit this last while. must get back on horse soon.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 17/04/2010 22:36

Sounds v cool gherkers.

Can't go wrong with those colours can you? There was the most minging Next cardi on S&B the other day - sort of patchworky. I really hope the op didn't buy it. Even the model looked embarassed wearing the bloody thing.

Lots of huffiness and general earnestness on silly jokey things tonight.

CheeeseOnToast · 17/04/2010 23:57

Aitch what does 'handkerchief hem' mean? It looks nice, I like it.

I had pan friend scallops with pea risotto for my lunch, which was gorgeous, along with half a jug of pims in the sun

Then dinner was a lovely ham salad, gorgeous ham and salad was mainly celery, lettuce and red pepper. lovely dinner. And lots of water. Feeling good ladies

CheeeseOnToast · 18/04/2010 00:27

haha, I of course mean pan fried scallops, not friend scallops.

Time for bed I think!

MamaGlee · 18/04/2010 07:52

ooh nice cardi Aitch

AM BACK IN ZONE FOLSK

might have BabyG christened this summer so want to be thin for that

JunoWatt · 18/04/2010 08:04

gah
went out to try and find a good place for my birthday meal out yest. depite all tis reccy it was crap here dh had to be sick to get rid of a fish bone. the food was under seasoned and my salad came in a pyrex bowl. not seared salmon at all - just poached. the mussels were served without bread and the sauce was average. In all pretty but food was crap. Oh my pudding was bland. So sigh are back to drawing board

JackBauer · 18/04/2010 08:08

Morning all, kept away last night as had to sort borthday presents for 2 parties todfay, only to have DD1 throw up everywhere this morning What threads do I need to study then?
Had chicken curry type stir fry last night with one spoon curry paste, 2 chicken breasts and loads of veg, was lush, stuffed myself silly and then threw DD's half eaten plates straight into the bin so I didn't pick at them.

2 glasses wine and some jellybeans and dolly mixture last night, not bad. (for me) but please bollock me.
Dh has promised me new bike leathers if I lose 3 stone so inccntive to look slinky(ish)
Mamag, I had someone do this, it induces terminal cringe I find, you mujst tell her she is a twat. it is you duty.

MamaGlee · 18/04/2010 08:18

oh that sounds, er, great juno

JACK - do you want to be fat forever? Do you think saying "oh it's just a few dolly mix" will make you th in? Didi t make you HAPPY to trough those sweets? Its a slippery slope
yiou need to CHANGE those eating habits
THINK THIN
Every time you go to eat some crap, think "would a thin person eat this?" (and not some lucky fucker with a high metabolism!)

STEP AWAY FROM THE EMPTY CALORIES

there, will that do?

MamaGlee · 18/04/2010 08:19

MamaGlee · 18/04/2010 08:22

MamaGlee · 18/04/2010 08:23

JunoWatt · 18/04/2010 08:23

gah am bored of birthday already

MamaGlee · 18/04/2010 08:24

is it a "special" birthday?

Do you HAVE to have a meal out? How many going?

wouldn't it be better to have weekend away somewhere cool with dh

MamaGlee · 18/04/2010 08:47

ooh and i almost boughty our "tesco slag" shoes yest

JackBauer · 18/04/2010 08:59
