Anyone else doing 30 day shred?

I heard lots about it and got the dvd. I'm on day 2 and can feel my muscles aching!
I'm trying to combine it with a diet too.

Is anyone else doing this/thinking of doing it?

Day 8 done!
I found it a bit better today but still struggled. I think its because I'm using 1.5kg weights and my arms are weak and wimpy.
Never mind, I'm going to carry on and hope for dramatic results

Wel my back is finally better so I have just done the whole of level 1 for the first time.

I now feel like i might die, but I did kind of enjoy it too, which is a first for me and exercise.

Going to ask for weights for my birthday because baked bean cans just aren't doing it lol.

the dvd has arrived - will be doing it tomorrow morning still havn't managed to get weights though - sports direct is crapola sometimes!

Another Shred day ticked on the calendar.

If you are need of motivation do the Shred in a slightly too short T shirt in front of the mantel mirror. The sight of my jelly belly bouncing around kept me working hard until the end !

Despite only doing a small bit of the DVD yesterday, my legs ache. Too tired tonight. Have done masses of walking plus had to walk extra fast because train was delayed and i was late for job centre appointment!
Thinking i may have to leave it until monday at this rate! But i want to try and fit it in this weekend if possible.

Day 10 done. Had a bit of a disaster though, ds got in the way and got hit by one of the weights. I felt awful.

It was just above his eye. Thank goodness it wasn't his eye as they are metal ones. Small red mark there at bedtime.

He really cried. So did I.

I have the same problem with my lab and retriever so have started shutting them out of the lounge!! I hope that he is okay?? Xx

Aw poor poshtottie's ds. I'm sure he'll be fine.
My 2 get in the way all the time and I'm always telling them to move.

Dh was amazed yesterday. He said that along with some weight loss, I'd become really 'shapely' I think that was his way of saying I'm more toned.

I've actually only lost about 4lbs since starting this but it looks like more. Woohoo!

poshtottie, eek Hope you are both okay now. I can only bring myself to shred when DS is asleep or being distracted by DP because I'm scared of the same thing happening (also he likes to turn the DVD player on and off ).

Day 3 completed this morning. I must try not to follow it up with a slice of cake this time.

Day 3 was yesterday. Tummy muscles slightly sore if I cough. I am inspired by Squidmission 4 lbs and a comment from Dh.
Mine doesn't know I am doing it so will have to be sneaky today.

We go on holiday in 5 weeks and really really want to be happier with my shape. ( Dh thinks I am fine but he is a skinny minny and I feel like a seaside postcard next to him.)

day 1 done finally !! I have also taken my measurements and a before pic (frontal and headless in too small tankini thing) I lay in bed so long this morning trying to convince myself to do this in the end it was too late as DD had got up and commandeered the living room with HSM live. |I had to send her out with her dad to get the car washed . In ashamed at how unfit I am and in the end i did something stoopid in the stretches and pulled a muscle in my arm ( i think) it was my fault was not following the instruction properly. It was so fooking hard but all the way through I kept on telling myself things can only get better and thinking of times my weight/shape has made me so utterly miserable ..well i guess thats it the new me starts now!!

I want top combine this with using my stepper and bungee cords a few nights a week and my walking - do you alll think thats ok??

Done Level 2 of shred followed by a 2 mile power walk inspired by the marathon runners!!!

I found it alot harder that Level 1 as I sweating and grunting lots... she is a killer but if I am on my way to getting a better figure then it is worth it.!!!

Trumpton - That'll be so amazing if you keep it a secret! your dh will be really pleasantly surprised as mine was Good luck.

Omydarlin I think you'll be toned up and in better shape in no time if you do all that exercise.

Twinkle well done on the extra exercise! How many days have you been shredding? Has your body changed much?

I'm still sticking to a no-carb-in-the-evening diet and it's working really well.

Tonight is the night to try day 1 again hopefully without interruptions from any DC!
Have taken measurements. Not sure about taking a photo! Will have to think about that one.

I've only been shredding 7 days but have noticed a little difference but i know it is early days!! I will keep going, good luck for level 2 tomorrow squid! Xx

Finally! Day 1 completed! I am knackered but like others have said, by the time you feel i can do no more, it's finished. Not 100% sure i am doing the abs one right because it doesn't hurt much. My arms are my weakest point!

Tortoise that's so weird i thought the same (well actually was thinking i must have some muscles under the flab or im doing it wrong) !

Yes we must have big muscles under the flab.
I can barely move my arms to use the laptop. They feel so weak.
