Anyone else doing 30 day shred?

I heard lots about it and got the dvd. I'm on day 2 and can feel my muscles aching!
I'm trying to combine it with a diet too.

Is anyone else doing this/thinking of doing it?

just done day 4 level 1. I found it alot easier today and didnt have to stop to catch my breath halfway through the 1st circuits cardio like i usually do. even though its only been 4 days i do feel stronger and can see a change in my shape.

DH is going away for next week so i will see if he notices a difference in my shape when he gets back

Did day 1 of level 2 last night, wasnt as bad as I thought but was still suitably sweaty at the end. My problem is my knees are really very very sore and I dont know why, Im sure I am doing things right think I will just tae some painkillers tonight and try and do it properly (was a bit half hearted last night tbh)

Havent taken a day off, is anyone or has anyone else just done ot attempted 30 days straight?!?!

On to day 17 now. Measured myself last Friday and again today.......
Lost 1/2 inch top of arms,
1 inch from waist and the same from hips ,
1/2 inch from thighs.
Bust stayed the same Boo hoo
Would like a smaller bust but it aint gonna happen.
Tried on last years trousers and I am in them !! Still on level 2 but thinking of level 3 for Sunday. On antibiotics for UTI but am managing to Shred still.

Well done on all the inch loss trumpton thats brill...

mummytotwins there are a couple on here that are managing to do it everyday unfortunately I wasn't one of them but have started again to see if I can do it without a break and excuses....

I found today a little bit easier even though my muscles are aching... But I know it is working if they are hurting...

Happy3 all newcomers are welcome the more the merrier... this thread is so supportive and not at all judgemental that's what I love about it....

Ouch miawallace. Hope bruising goes quickly. Well done for still doing shred.

At the moment, i am not planning on shredding tonight. Am tired, knee aches and i have eaten too much jacket potato with cheese and beans! Feel stuffed! Last thing i feel like doing is jumping around!

Day 25 done - Yeah...I'm on the home straight.

For as long as I can remember my knees have clicked when I bend them -such as when climbing stairs. Years ago when I attended a gym there was a physio there who told me it was nothing to worry about but this DVD has made me realise how much noise they make. To be honest it is quite off putting and sets my teeth on edge. Does anyone else suffer or am I a freak in need of a good oiling?!

Am going for day 3 today and to be honest I can't wait... am so excited!!! I had no sleep last night either cos my ds is ill and she joined me in bed! She can snore for england so am just keep hydrated to keep going! [simle]

I'm giving myself the day off today as my knees ache and don't want to push it so I'll have to stop shredding completely.

Mummytotwins I hope the cod liver oil capsules do the trick for you.

I have lost inch of my waist and hips i didn't measure my bust as i'd like it to stay as big as possible tbh - arms and thighs stayed the same but i was unsure how i measured last time !

Just did day 8 i am finding the strength harder which is odd and still cant do press ups - am so so weak - I could never be a pole dancer with my upper body strength .

Am still considering this level one for 30 days business which is what this lady did

Just completed day 3 level 1. It's already starting to feel easier. I'm now working on improving my form.

Hi all! Level 1 day 2 here. I am finidng the cardio bits really hard. I have to stop sometimes at the jumping jacks but I am feeling enthusiastic.

Did Day 3 L1 yesterday and I was really enjoying doing it until ds2 woke up from his nap with 5 mins left to do so I really struggled with that but managed to finish... intending to do it today while he is awake instead...

Eating has gone a bit to pot but hopefully get back on track tomorrow.

I finally started, going to day day 3 level 1 later today. So far going good, I really ache but I like that it means it is working! Quite surprised how much I worked up a sweat in 20 mins. Finding the weight moves hard, mine are only 2 lbs each but I am struggling a bit to do the complete sets. I am sure it will get easier each day.

Am going to measure myself too.

omydarlin - checked out that link, wow she did really well!

tonight will be day 14 (day 4 level 2) for me but just wanted to say I did my measurements earlier and...................................(drum roll please)...........................

I have lost 1.5" off my waist, 2" off my hips, 2.5" off each thigh and 1.5" off my chest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My knees may make me feel like an oap but its definatley worth it!!!!

My DVD arrived yesterday and I watched it today
start tomorrow
not really wanting to lose weight but to lose the flabby belly and change shape a bit
am used to lots of walking and I cycle daily but...
I am rubbish at aerobic type things but will throw myself into it....

Day 9 workout 1 done.
Has anyone else noticed that during the static lunges/bicep curl, when Gillian goes to speak to Anita, Natalie stops lunging and just bicep curls? And she doesn't get very low during punches!

I am so hot and sweaty now! But glad i made myself shred tonight.

tortoise I feel a bit sorry for Natalie, she struggles a bit in level 2 (not that I blame her!!!)

I am doing weight watchers alongside this, its my 3rd weigh in tomorrow, so far I have lost 6.5lbs only 18lbs to go lol!!! though my first goal is another 8lbs off and then I am pre baby weight

omydarlin thanks for posting that link, the woman's before size and shape is similar to mine so it has given me hope.

I love seeing before and after Shred poses, I so wish I'd taken some snaps. I have a poor self image so I'm finding it hard to see improvement. The tape measure tells me I have lost a couple of inches and I can see some tone developing in my arms (sadly the scales still refuse to budge ) but I still don't like what I see so another round of shredding calls once I have done my 30 days.

Tonight (day 27) I managed to follow Natalie for part of it - I amazed myself by doing 3 travelling pushups and 5 plank to push up - yeeehah!!!! Day 1 I would have laughed in your face if you told me I would be able to do a press up.

tortoise - yes I've noticed the flaws in Natalie's routine too. I love the way Jillian tells her off too. Jillian rocks!

justaminute you have given me hop re: the push ups - I love Jillian too especially when she says something like
"if you guys want it you got to hang with us and work for it"

No shredding today for me - mad dash around the house this morning getting ready to go to my sisters (always a bit fraught don't get on with) all my family) so ate lots of party food etc once there and rocky road then my twin invented a cocktail consisting of vodka rose and cream soda which was quite nice and had to be drunk LOL
