i went to collect my stuff today and i was shocked that it is only day 6 as saturday would be my first week and i am 12 stones 8 according to my councilor's scales and that was with my clothes on so the wii fit is right teconally i have reached my goal already which is great. i feel ok just had my spaghetti bog and veggies and also my shake i am stuffed . i see my councilor again on Saturday the 20th then i should have lost i hope at least 3lbs. i feel good lighter.

Saturday i will be going out to dinner with my ds to wanga mammas i just have to be careful what i have i told my councillor but what i will do is have my shake in the morning my meal and my shake in the eveling. and i will go to spinn in the morning before we go out.

sounds like a plan.

Numberfour · 11/03/2010 18:35

good grief, i feel better in the mornings than evenings! pounding headache and dry mouth and lips despite having had over 3 litres (6 pints) of water.

i am really pleased that i am managing to stick quite well to SS+ and am finding it much easier than SS.

Kurves, well done for reaching goal so smoothly! seems that toast and butter the other night was cancelled out by your exercising!! hope goes well tomorrow, too

early bed again for me tonight.

5inthebed · 12/03/2010 11:45

What day you on now? I was like that in my second week. It does ease, but water won't help.

I am also worse in the evening. I was nearly crying dishing out chicken curry last night. One of my favourites. I had a chicken and mushroom soup instead.

Early bed is a must for me, Im finding it hard getting up in the morning I am so tired.

kurves · 12/03/2010 11:46

i feel really low today went to the gym not hungry but feel really fed up i am going to try the tomato soup today.

5inthebed · 12/03/2010 11:47

Cheer up, its nearly the weekend, and you also hit your first target

I'm not a fan of the tomato soup.

kurves · 12/03/2010 11:58

i feel like i cpould just sleep all day i found that i just wanted to pig out but i am not hungry i now know that my weight gain is connected to my emotions . i am going to have a nap now i had a boiled egg and a porrige for breakfast that was nice. then i went to the gym.

Numberfour · 12/03/2010 14:09

hi again

I do feel better today again - Day 10! and managing okay.

5inthebed, I also do not like the tomato soup, the oriental chilli is just about bearable but the chicken and mushroom quite tasty. I do like both porridges, though! much to my surprise.

i am def feeling better all round, i must admit. and i am looking forward to my weigh in on Tues - how odd! i loathed WW w'ins.

kurves · 12/03/2010 15:02

hey guys i will take your advice and bring back the tomato and do a swap i do feel very low and very tired today was even in tears is this one of the side effects i am not hungry just tired and peed off i hope it gets better .my weigh in is not until next week Saturday it should come pretty quickly as this week should be easier as the hunger4r5 thing should pass .

5inthebed · 12/03/2010 18:24

I'm having a miserable day, hope I can snap out of it. Missing food. I'm not hungry though. Didn't even lick the spoon that I was serving mash with

I love the chicken and mushroom soup, the vegetable is a close second. The Oriental chilli is quite funky. Not sure what those chewy bits are in it. I do like the porridge though, I start my day off with one.

kurves · 13/03/2010 07:33

last night i totally slipped up i had to eat cause i felt so unwell so i feel better today and am going to start a fresh today i fel better than i did yeaturday lets hope that today goes better. i will weigh and see the damagew that happened but i felt so rough .

Numberfour · 13/03/2010 11:49

oh dear, seems we are not all doing as well as we'd hoped.

5inthebed, i feel a little like that, too. I sort of miss food but am not hungry. There is so much stuff in my fridge and cupboards still after a week - shows me how much I had been eating ]

kurves: just start again today. you have already reached one target so you know you can. i hope you're feeling better today.

i have a VERY sore right ear and my throat is sore right into my chest. coughing and spluttering but not a cold. hopefully i can stick it out. Day 11 now and for the first time EVER i have managed to stick to a diet 100%.

Well I've jsut got in from an Ann Summers party, lots of alcohol, fresh pizzas and buffet food....... and I just had my trusty bottle of water as had a bowl of porridge before I left. Went without my 200 cal meal as well, but added half a packet of toffee/walnut to my porridge after it came out of the mirowave. It was yummy!

Kurves, just forget about your little blip and continue like normal.

NVM, not sure about the mix a mousse as I don't really have the shakes that often.

I've been struggling the past few days, I want food, but not hungry. Total nightmare. I made a massive chocolate fudge cake with the kids the other night and not a crumb past my lips.

Onwards with this diet.

kurves · 14/03/2010 08:54

well it was my ds birthday yesturday and we went to fridays and i had a meal . So i started again today and will weigh to see the damage and start again but i feel ok still better than i did the other day.

Numberfour · 14/03/2010 10:46

morning!

Day 12 for me and i feel not too bad today! we are getting to ready to go and kick a football about with my 5 yr old DS. if he had his way he would be sitting in front of the pc all day playing games. next thing you know, we are sitting with an overweight child. so, best we all get off our butts and move a bit!

kurves, hope you manage okay today. it is really hard to get back on plan with you have a hiccup but hopefully you will find support here.

5inthebed: well done for not even having a taste! i made some spag bol yesterday to freeze and got DH to taste test it!

NVM: hi! and welcome. well done on your weight loss so far!

kurves · 14/03/2010 11:27

so far i am ok as i eat food it is not that bad i went ion the wii fit and it said that i put on 2lbs which i feel is not that bad today i will have my normal dinner i guess by the time i reach saturday for my weigh in i will have lost the 2 lbs and more i am hoping that i will be 12 stones 5 lbs on Saturday that would be great for me as i have a action packed week planned i am just going to take it easy and relax after i come off here i will be working out my calories for the day i find that if i do eat too little i do get really ill and my anxiety starts to play up pains in my shoulder and in my arm ect so i have to be really careful and i find the palpitation's start so even if i do just get to 12 6 it will still be a achievement for me.

Hi,
I've been thinking about starting the Camebridge diet. I have lost 3 st before using ww, but have put it all back on. The thought of going back to ww and starting all over again is a bit depressing and I think to get me motivated I need a good start. I want to lose about 2 and a half stone. What is the rough weight loss per week with this diet and be honest, how difficult is it to keep up?

5inthebed · 14/03/2010 22:08

Kurves, stop weighing yourself!

Hi Nancy. The average WL is a stone a month, although depends on your size. I've been on the CD for nearly 3 weeks now and have lost 15lbs, next getting weighed on Tuesday. The first three/four days are really hard, but then your body adjusts itself and you don't feel hungry at all. I am missing food, although not hungry. It opens your eyes as to what your bad food habits are. If you can imagine it being like reprogramming your body to food again. The CD chat forum is helpful as well.

Numberfour · 15/03/2010 07:05

morning.
i really wish my cough and sort throat would go away........... i am shattered from being awake coughing and coughing and coughing.

5inthebed · 15/03/2010 09:37

Poor you. I have been up most of the night with ds3 who has the vomitting bug. Nice. Hopefully I don't catch it as can't CD when you've got it.

IS it your WI tomorrow N4?

kurves · 15/03/2010 10:06

is there caffine in the shakes.

kurves · 15/03/2010 10:07

you are right i need to stop weighing my self and do away with it thanks taking your dvice .

5inthebed · 15/03/2010 10:16

Don't think there is caffeine in them. Why?

I had to get my DH to hide my scales as was weighing myself every morning.

kurves · 15/03/2010 16:51

i have a problem with that so now i have to just not weigh until weigh in . today i started back properly and i must admit it is tough as i was at home most of the day i guess i will see what happens later. just happy that i did not gain all the weight that i had lost . i now hate to come to the resolve that i can only weigh on saturdays.

i asked about the caffeine because i have been getting anxiety attacks and i wanted to find out what was causing it i now know that i have to eat when i am hungry because that can chigger it off.

Numberfour · 15/03/2010 19:45

hi, all
yes, WI for me tomorrow! I am quite excited again because i have stuck to this diet about 99%. the outstanding one percent was an extra tin of tuna on sunday and too many sticks of celery!!!
BUT: there is chocolate in the cupboard and it is VERY enticing, but i will not have any.

Kurves, it is highly unlikely that there is caffeine in the shakes. have a look at the CD webiste. it gives lot of info in it. also talk to your counsellor about the panic attacks. could be mood related due to the diet. i know that i am far more moody on a low carb diet!
