Well half term is over, back to school tomorrow and Spring is in the air...time to get rid of the winter flab methinks!

I weigh 11 stone and want to be 10 by Easter (and ultimately around the 9 stone 7-10 mark) - six weeks to do 14lbs doable I think?

My reward will be lovely shopping for summer clothes.

My plan is to do HM smoothie or cereal breakfast, Soup or salad lunch and "normal" healthyish dinner (but watch the portion size on carbs. I will be trying to drink lots of water and less coffee/alcohol and exercising 3 x per week (prob be running but am considering joining a gym!!)

So anyone who fancies joining me feel free

Today: Strawb and yog smoothie/prawn salad/shepherds pie and brocolli. Might run later if it ever stops RAINING!!

Simmo DD3 is 6months and has been a pretty good sleeper since birth until now but she's ill so its forgivable

Im also worried about the saggy bits..i have a overhang from my csections so im worried that its not going to tone up

Cant find the tape measure so i'll have to buy a new one tomorrow.

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 12/03/2010 09:02

Hi All

Weigh in day for me today - was 9st 6 last week - today I'm 9st3.75 so that's 2.25lbs loss. Hurrah!

Very of people with sleepy babies - DS2 is 7 months and has slept through once! Aargh!

Good luck everybody weighing in!

PlumBumMum · 12/03/2010 10:06

Thank you girls for the encouragement, well I weighed in
and I will look at it as good news I didn't gain, but didn't lose so stil 12 for me

I am out tonight to see The Sound of Music and and preshow dinner BUT I will be extra good this week I will have a lose next week

Well Done ITPIYH

SciFiFan · 12/03/2010 12:16

Well done porridge and kurves.

I weighed in this morning and have lost another 1lb which takes me to 10st 11 (from a start weight of 11st 2) so I'm getting there bit by bit.

I'm definately feeling more toned particularly on my tum.

I know what you mean mumgonecrazy about saggy skin from a csection. I'm also worried that I'll get a flat tum but it will be covered by saggy, skin! I suppose the answer would be a tummy tuck but I can't afford it and don't like the thought of plastic surgery (mainly what could go wrong).

kurves · 12/03/2010 13:55

well done every one ontheir weight lose this week here is looking forward to another good week. I feeling low today so bye for now

MumGoneCrazy · 12/03/2010 16:01

I had porridge and banana for breakfast
Ham salad baguette for lunch
and going to have a weight watchers lasagne or cottage pie with some salad for dinner

I put on a pound this week
But i did give up on my exercise for a bit as i was ill so its understandable i guess

I just need to work harder this week

I'd have a tummy tuck for the saggy skin if i could afford it but i cant so its not an option lol

MumGoneCrazy · 12/03/2010 16:03

Kurves hope you feel better soon

Dont tell anyone i did that

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 12/03/2010 16:14

Well done SciFi

Hope you feel better soon Kurves

MumGoneCrazy - keep going - you can do it.

twinkle183 · 12/03/2010 19:50

Right... to say I have had a bad with food is understatement... so feel for all those people that have had bad weeks...

I have had a word with myself and thats it... its all or nothing now!!! I am fed up of feeling and looking like this and I am the only one that can change it...

Am going to try and loose half a stone by easter now cos a stone is out of my reach by then....

Keep going girlies who are succeeding!!!

simmo39 · 12/03/2010 22:02

Kurves - hope you feel chirpier tomorrow, keep your chin up.

Bumped into a friend today at playbarn and she has looked into a mini tummy tuck (for when you have lost weight and tried to tone but left with skin overhang) and it cost £3000. DH has promised if I lose all my weight we will look into and maybe get a loan. Maybe he has just said that to spur me on. then I had a look into the actual procedure and not sure I could go through with it. Sounds a very serious op after all.

Weight in today was good 4lb off. That is 27 1/2 in 7 weeks. Can't believe it!

So 3 weeks to Easter so still on track. Just wish it was my last stone to go But am getting there that is the main thing.

PlumBumMum - enjoy your show and dinner.

ITPIYH - well done on your loss this week, maybe its the getting up in the middle of the night that is helping us shed weight?

MumGoneCrazy · 12/03/2010 23:08

Well done on all the losses this week girls

kurves · 14/03/2010 11:30

yes i only put on 2lbs i find that i get realluy ill if i do not eat enough calories it sets off my axienty so i wioll have to take it easy and make sure that i eat regularly. i hope that i will lose 4 lbs this week so i will be 12 stone 6lbs next saturday at my weigh in that would be good for me.

duckyfuzz · 15/03/2010 12:11

hmm, failed already on the no biscuits, but in my defence I was at a meeting and the biscuits were the only interesting thing about it, other than that mueslit for breakfast, having soup for lunch

MumGoneCrazy · 15/03/2010 15:08

I've done 45 mins on the wii fit plus including 1350 steps and it said i burnt 158 cals

And after the school run im taking the dog on 3 mile walk as she's getting huge as well

Im cutting out crisps, biscuits, chocolate, bread and fizzy pop...i'll miss them but they got to go

twinkle183 · 15/03/2010 20:10

Right am joining boot camp... have been really good for the last 3 days which is a result for me!!! I have been within my points allowance... woohoo...

Can I join boot camp am off for a run now for half an hour and I know it is going to kill but am going to do! I know once it is done I'll feel better about myself... I am knackered though after a long day at college and then 3 kiddies to sort out on my own as dh works away... I must be mental!!!
But am not going to talk myself out of it... will post again once I have done it...

Just given you ten redshoesnoknickers I like the hard task master.....

twinkle183 · 15/03/2010 20:39

Thanks girls for the unconditional support - don't think I could do this without you all

Big hugs...

simmo39 · 15/03/2010 21:09

Mumgonecrazy - I am doing a LC diet called 'GoLower' they deliver the food to you. I am really impressed with the results so far, and really haven't been hungry. I am so happy that I have found a diet that works for me, and they offer a counsellor service over the phone that has been very supportive. Check out their website golower.co.uk
Well done on all your exercise, I am trying to do Davina as much as possible.
