OK, new thread for 2010!

My aim is to have lost 2 stone by my Birthday on April 6th! Booking a weeks family holiday for that week and want to feel and look better!

So, weigh in Friday? I always find weekends harder so that would be a good day for me.

Smalline mmm roast dinner soup sounds interesting.
I normally do carrot, onion and leek or leek and potato. Sometime spicy butternut squash. Carrot and coriander is nice as well.

I did great thanks tortoise although did succumb to a few breadsticks last night. But did manage to avoid the huge bowl of doritos.

Your menu sounds a bit sparse! I'd be absolutely starving on those rations.

What about you smalline?

I did have a big bowl of soup! Plus the bread filled me up. Normally wake up hungry and wanting breakfast in the morning but I am fine today.

Insomnia! - I'm quite often here at stupid 3 or 4 or 5 oclock. have had it since ds was born 10 years ago. madness!

Sounds like you two are doing okay. I had a good day myself yesterday, managed to avoid the wine, but had 4 oreos instead, didn't sleep too well myself last night, not sure if it was because I went to bed earlier than usual, or the lack of wineBlush.

Kids are off school today and I've promised to take them to Cosmo for lunch, I'll have to be really careful and make sensible choices, not easy when there is so much lovely food on display, I'm starving as I haven't eaten anything as yet today, am saving myself. I'll report my failure success when I come back.

I've just got back from the Drs and for the third week running I have really high blood pressure. I've to go back in 2 weeks to see again.

I googled and it says it can be lowered by exercise and a good healthy diet and also low salt. - Great! that was probably me last whole tube of pringles for now then.

Joking aside in the huge whole scheme of things it is a reality check that actually being healthy is actually um very healthy and essential to LIVE.

If this doesn't kick my fat arse into gear then I really am crazy

That doesn't sound too good furball. Hope all ok at next appointment.

I had a good morning but spoilt it this evening!

So, today I have had
8am sf snack bar.
10am sf shake.
11am banana.
12.30 cheese and onion crisps.
2pm fairy cake at school event.
4.30 spicy chicken pie, quick food before going back out!
5.30 salt and vinegar crisps and a Snickers. (bored waiting for DDs to finish trampolining club, vending machine called me over lol!)
7.45 banana and fat free yog.
8.10 choc brioche thing and 2x 1 finger timeout.

I WILL NOT EAT ANYTHING ELSE TONIGHT!

Well I was very pleased with myself today, chose well at lunch, mostly vegetables meat & prawns, with lots of fruit for dessert & sparkling water, had a yogurt about 5pm, have just polished off a large salad with some chicken. I'm feeling very tired tonight so I will have 1 glass of wine and go to bedSmile.

Here's hoping that we all have a good day tomorrowSmile.

Well done small. Yes, touch of the munchies lol! Not had anything else tonight though.
Tomorrow should be ok, am out of the house all day. Have to go to job centre. Should get back just before I have to pick dc up from school. I don't tend to eat when out. Will take a shake with me.

will be interesting to see how you get on on the ole SF tortoise - do they fill you up?

I'm also doing OK yesterday/today (is this a first for all 3 of us to be ontrack together Grin )

had sultana bran for brekkie
tomatoes on toast for lunch (with no added salt on - boohoo)

and will have homemade chilli for tea

Furball I do find the shake fills me up. I bought 2 big cans/tubs of sf shake powder today. Half price in boots! Cheaper, but not as easy as the ready made bottles! Yes I think this could be the 1st time we have all been on track.

So far today I have had
Nutrigrain bar
Sf shake
Snickers (oops!)
Fat free yog.
Crisps (oops!)

Not sure about dinner yet.

I can't find a post with recent weight so guess I didn't post one!
Today I am 12st 8 1/4 I think I was 12st 11 ish when last weighed myself. So possible 2-3 lb loss.

Had a chocolate peanut sf meal bar for breakfast. Nearly broke my teeth on it, it was that hard and chewy lol! Tasted ok though.

12st 1.5lbs today so have lost 1.5lbs again this weekSmile I'm now back to my pre-easter weight.

Yes Tortoise I think we should have a shiny new thread something like Lardy Ladies 2011 Slimming our way to Summer ???
