OK, new thread for 2010!

My aim is to have lost 2 stone by my Birthday on April 6th! Booking a weeks family holiday for that week and want to feel and look better!

So, weigh in Friday? I always find weekends harder so that would be a good day for me.

Smalline mmm roast dinner soup sounds interesting.
I normally do carrot, onion and leek or leek and potato. Sometime spicy butternut squash. Carrot and coriander is nice as well.

Hello ladies, so far today I have had
Porridge for breakfast,
wholemeal chapati with cheese spread & marmite
small slice lemon drizzle cake
2 teaspoons peanut butter
spaghetti bolonaise
low fat yogurt.
should be exercising tonight but I cannot be bothered.

I've finished off tonight with a cottage pie type mince, with carrots, onion and finely chopped celery added.

Well, I caved and went to chippy. I shared veg curry with DS1 plus chips! Was very yummy!

I think the worst thing is when you have something naughty and infact it wasn't as good as you thought.

Would have enjoyed in more if i had had longer than 15 mins to eat it before i had to go back out to pick kids up from Disco! Down side of living a mile from school and town! But it was very tasty. Grin

Half term now for us which is normally the worst time for me. Will see how i go.
Will be having leek and potato soup today but with bacon in it.

Today I have eaten

B Porridge with raisins
L Spaghetti Bolonaise
D Butternut squash soup & 1 large portion of chicken.
Snacked on 1 heaped teaspoon peanut butter, 1 digestive, 1 slice Tesco's chocolate tray cake (It was a friends birthday, and she twisted my arm)
I'm going to have a glass of wine - very naughty I know, but it is FridaySmile

last night I had

2 more glasses of Wine
1 pk cheese & onion french fries
lf yogurt
another portion of chicken (from dixie chicken)
7 marshmallows

Now that I have it down in writing, I can see that I am eating far more than I believe myself to be and that is after I have cut down on things, I would hate to see the list before I cut downBlush.

I'm off to shred now before I weigh myself

I don't know really. Just feel lonely more on a Friday. Maybe because during the week DS1 and DS2 are around in the evening.

I can't remember everything from yesterday but no fruit and around 5 blue ribbon bars over the day and 3 medley I think.

I will try harder today but I am eating a stickers duo right now! Lol. Will make that my only chocolate.Smile

tortoise - I can't comment on your intake - I too have been there (for 18+ months) and luckily have since come back down to reality.

I did in my damage put on the 2 stone I so wanted to lose, and so here I am again. Smile

It might be better for you to have a month off get it out your system, not argue with your inner self, no guilt, no pressure to fight the urge of whatever it is you fancy etc, etc.

But do as I say and not as I did, don't undo all your hard work so far, but maybe putting on 1/2 stone will give you the reality check you need to put you back on the future straight and narrow?

I don't know, it's sooooo hard.

Thanks furball. Diet has been better the last wk apart from a few slip ups! I don't want to totally deny myself any foods because that would make it harder for me. I have done the eat everything side of things and now need to cut down. Have gained about a stone.

Playing on Wii fit with dc at mo and been on just dance. That made my arms hurt lol.

Hello ladies, sorry for deserting you, I was very disappointed last week with my weigh-in, I put on 1lb and that was after a week of being a lot better (or so I thought), anyway AF came yesterday so that is probably why, I am so irregular these days I never know when she is due.

Anyway, apart from an incident with chocolate digestives yesterday I've not been too bad, oh and DD and I made some sticky chocolate brownies on Sunday, they were all gone by MondayBlush, I will start logging everything I eat next week.

Great news about your 2lbs Tortoise well doneGrin.

How did you get on with your weigh-in this week Furball?

I was disappointed too tortoise

although I did lose 1 lb - I had kept to minimum syns per day everyday. I thought I was ultra good, however, I went to an all you can eat chinese buffet on Tuesday night.

Again I was very good, only had one small plate of mixed starters and one smallish plate of mains. I made sure I had nothing fried etc.

Although the food was really really salty so I drank about 3 pints of water.

Put it this way - I won't be going back! But I am still being ultra good in the hope that my only a pound was the fact I drank all that water. [hope]

The sunny weather yesterday spurred me on - I WANT TO WEAR NICE CLOTHES AND NOT LOOK A FRUMP!

I also have a really really nice jacket to squeeze into Grin

Hows everyones week so far?

I went out for lunch yesterday it was abit naughty but totally devine. - pork chops on mustard mash with black pudding Blush and veg.

Don't know what the damage was, and I know black pudding is bad fat wise. but......I was increasing my iron intake Wink

Apart from that really, I've been OK

I did take DDs swimming yesterday and I did 8 lengths, not all in one go though. But then spoilt it by have lunch at burger king! Wish I lived closer to a pool because I would go more often.

how is the shredding going tortoise?

I've just got back from WI and lost 1 1/2 lbs - so well chuffed with that as I did go out for a meal and I did sneak a ripple yesterday.....

I got my 1/2 stone sticker today as well. I long time comming (6 weeks) and at 1/2 the speed to when I did SW before. but it has been relatively painless and it is at least comming off.
