OK, new thread for 2010!

My aim is to have lost 2 stone by my Birthday on April 6th! Booking a weeks family holiday for that week and want to feel and look better!

So, weigh in Friday? I always find weekends harder so that would be a good day for me.

Smalline mmm roast dinner soup sounds interesting.
I normally do carrot, onion and leek or leek and potato. Sometime spicy butternut squash. Carrot and coriander is nice as well.

Good luck for 2010!

I don't mind sneaking around in the night, grab meself a Brew and sit with just me and t'interweb.

I've been like it since ds was born nearly 10 years ago. Can't remember the time I've slept past 6.30am! and if I do I feel dreadful.

The zip does do up but I look like the michelin man it's very tight

I just think of another jacket I have that hung on me and i couldn't wear it when I wasn't a 16

Tortoise · 14/02/2011 20:20

I walk 4-6 miles every day as we live around a mile from school.Smile

I had low fat laughing cow cheese spread on toast, an Apple and 2 medley bars. Trying to ignore munchies. Have fruit polos to suck on instead!

I would hate not sleeping. I am not a morning person lol.

Tortoise · 14/02/2011 21:48

I am finding tonight hard! I dont know why but I want raid the cupboard or eat crisps. BUT so far I am resisting. Just watching biggest loser then will go to bed I think.

Furball · 15/02/2011 12:59

How you both doing today?

I'm still 'on the plan' Grin

weigh in tomorrrow but feel I'll be lucky to loose 1/2 lb as I was a really greedy girly up until Sunday, so get what I deserve.

Me coat was dispatched yesterday Wink

Tortoise · 15/02/2011 13:24

Good luck with the weigh in tomorrow furball.
I resisted last night.
Not so good this morning.
I had toast and jam then after school run I had a medley bar. About half hr later I had hilarity hoops then 2 more medley bars Blush.
Got on and defrosted the freezer to take my mind off food which worked. Now eating half a ok of Mediterranean cous cous for lunch.

Tortoise · 15/02/2011 13:25

Why did my phone change hula to hilarity? Lol how bizarre!

Smalline · 15/02/2011 14:33

I fell asleep watching bl in bed last night, it was after the elimination so that's ok.

Well done for not giving in last night Tortoise, I wondered what hilarity hoops wereGrin.

Good luck with your wi tomorrow Furball, at least you've had a good few days, so that should helpSmile.

So far today I have had
B Porridge with raisins, 1 orange
Lunch 4 ryvitas with an ounce of cheese, 1 cheese spread, hot marmite drink & a lf yogurt.
planning to have pasta with gammon & sweetcorn for tea.

Forgot to mention 2 heaped teaspoons of crunchy peanut butter that I had yesterday, I find that if I am peckish between meals, the peanut butter sometimes helps to keep hunger at bay.

Tortoise · 15/02/2011 17:49

Ewww peanut butter lol!
I had an Apple after lunch. Then when picked kids up my friend bought me a toffee crisp.
Just had plate of oven chips, 5 hot dog sausages and grated cheese on top. Then a yeo valley yog tube thing. Running very low on food hence crappy meal lol.

Furball · 15/02/2011 18:46

lol @ tortoise saying ewww to smalls peanut butter then going on to say she had 5 hot dog sausages! Grin Grin

Tortoise · 15/02/2011 18:49

Smalline · 16/02/2011 09:48

Tortoise · 16/02/2011 21:20

I'm writing today off as a bad day lol. Tomorrow I will have money in the bank and will buy some veg to make soup. Don't know what yet depends what coop have!

Well done for loss furball.Smile
Well done small for doing davina.Smile

Smalline · 16/02/2011 21:41

Have you tried butternut squash soup Tortoise? I quite like that and so easy to make. Leek & Potato (I usually add bacon for a bit more flavour). Don't you find coop expensive?

Tortoise · 16/02/2011 22:06

Yes I love spicy butternut squash soup but can't get one in coop. It is my closest shop so although some bits are expensive I don't have much choice. Think I have made leek and potato before. Could do with doing a Tesco online shop but I don't think I will have enough money this week.

Furball · 16/02/2011 22:09

tortoise - you can get a 'soup mix' which is a bag of various split peas, lentils, pearl barley etc etc.

Very cheap and lovely and filling all boiled up with a chopped onion and a stock cube.

Furball · 16/02/2011 22:13

I don't think I will have enough money this week. Sad

I'm not being funny - but can I send you a tenner? - I'd hate to see you and yours unable to eat because you don't have enough money

Private message me your address Smile I really really don't mind. If you wanted to you could call it a loan and play me when you have abit more Smile

Tortoise · 16/02/2011 23:40

Furball that is very kind of you but we will be fine. Can't afford a big Tesco shop but have enough for bits from coop. Never seen a soup mix before, will keep an eye out for some.Smile
DS1 is back from Germany so only just going to bed. He really enjoyed it. Going to let him miss school tomorrow. Then Friday is inset day for all.

Furball · 17/02/2011 05:07

tortoise Smile - I hope you weren't insulted by my gesture. But I felt I have known you for yonks and your sentence made me think I should help Smile

soup mix - looks like this

Tortoise · 17/02/2011 10:21

No not at all furball. Was very kind of you to offer. Smile

Tortoise · 17/02/2011 13:41

Right, i have had
2 pieces jam on toast as norm!
monster munch
Leek and potato soup & 2 slices bread and butter. Will get bacon later to add to left overs, needed more flavour.

Kids have valentines disco tonight, DD2 6pm-7pm then DS2 and DD1 7.15-8.30pm so my dinner will be late. Could be very naughty and grab chips on way past chippy!!

Furball · 17/02/2011 13:53

I have had 2 x weetabix made mainly with boiling water and a splash of milk - tis nice!Hmm (used 1 syn for sugar (out of 10))

1/2 of the slimming world quiche I made yesterday with a blob of brown sauce (1 syn for the sauce)

and 2 small potatoes made into slimming world crisps Blush

apart from the synnage of the sugar and brown sauce - all completely free to eat as much as I like (not including breakfast) yum yum yum nom nom nom
