okay, so i ate chocolate cake and drank beer all weekend but i went to the gym today - finally - and there'll be no more chocolate cake (ate it all anyway) for me. the nice man found a number of ways to measure my overweightness

today - weetabix and banana, black coffee
lunch, two slices of brown bread with butter and cheese
snack - an apple, slice of bread with butter
three cups of tea
dinner - hmmm. i think veggie sausages on a bagel. am dp-less for the week, so likely to only eat processed food (hate cooking)

qumps · 17/08/2009 20:28

Been horrendous and can't weigh in as no chance of getting near the gym and the scales until next week as dh away. Also nights on my own = very bad eating
oh dear....

treedelivery · 17/08/2009 20:52

Qumps and Stripey - oooo just think. Nights on your own with tv/book and tv dinners. Bliss.

Dog - that's not bad calorie and fat wise though!! You've had very little overall. Really.

I had fish and chips for dinner, only worse.....I had a battered sausage. ROFL! As if anyone eats battered sausage! It's only because I am supposed to be on a diet lifestyle adjustment that I fancied such a nasty thing.

PatTheHammer · 17/08/2009 21:15

Today I have eaten quite a lot but most of it good:

1 Bowl F&F and 1 slice toast
Small wholemeal pitta with Houmous, Lots of Fruit, tropical juice drink
Salmon Fishcakes, 4 new pots and veg
Raspberry fat-free yoghurt.
Handful dried fruit and seeds
3 cups pep tea.

Exercise: Lots of trekking round bird park, uphill pushing buggy so calves got a workout

Tree-PMSL at the battered sausage!

Dog and Stripey can't believe how little you are eating........I would starve on that!

Beauregard · 17/08/2009 21:17

Yay for PatThehammer

TreeDelivery rofl the battered sausage has just counteracted the 1 pound poo

Breakfast-1 slice toast and marmite

Lunch-Bowl of ww vegetable soup and 1 small sundried tomato ciabatta.

Snacks-2 Plums,bag of soya bites

treedelivery · 17/08/2009 21:20

Good day Pelvic and pat!

My graze box comes tomorrow. Hope its got good stuff in. DH gets one and he always gets exotic rice crackers and spicy cashews etc. I always get hazelnuts and dried apricots. It's like they know I need less calories, fats, nad salt in my diet. Did one of you lot tell them

stripeywoollenhat · 17/08/2009 21:23

pat, i don't think you've eaten much more than i have. and i am going to have a nectarine and some dried apricots for dessert. and i had a small glass of wine with my plastic veggie sausages.

PatTheHammer · 17/08/2009 21:27

Suppose, my dinner looked huge but it was mostly leeks, carrots and green beans. Lunch was loads but mostly fruit.............so doesn't count right

Good day Pelvic, curious about these soya bites they sound nice

oneopinionatedmother · 17/08/2009 21:27

bkfast - few bran flakes, few raisins
3* tea

lunch - one slice toast
4* tea

2* pint lemonade
many blackberries.

dinner
1/4 quiche, spud (lathered in fat), fried mushroom and onion gravy

choc & blackberry cake (my own. 2 0z fat, 2oz sugar 1oz chocolate)..some small amount o fruit.)

2* tea

i have just spent a week eating barbeque cos we have been camping.

Hi Guys - nice one Pat - think you're the weight loss winner for this week by the looks of things.

Jumping back on the waggon after weekend tea consisted of wine, kettle chips and doritos. Not sure which diet book I got that particular recipe from....Will weigh in tomorrow.

By the looks of things think I'm lucky dh doesn't cook/bake. Am interested,do your partners back you up when you go on a diet lifestyle change? My dh can eat what he likes and he stays totally slim and superfit He doesn't understand my pain.....

Good luck today everyone.

qumps · 18/08/2009 15:01

Just a quick skim but Tree I ALWAYS eat battered sausage from the chip shop. It's awesome!!
At mum and dad's and so far had a roast and 2 chocolate marshmallows. Off for a swim in a bit though when S wakes up. Will try and weigh in too but very scared.

PatTheHammer · 18/08/2009 20:45
