I know how you feel MmejaffaB!

I'm the exact same since weigh in on Wednesday night!!

I couldn't even tell you what I ate all week so far.

I came home from work ill on Thursday, so slept all day until dinner time & never ate a bite. Then I had potatoes with a knob of flora & spring onions & a pork chop.

Later I had a bowl of fruit...topped with a scoop of ice-cream

When dh came home fro the gym (we usually go together but I was too ill) I had 2 slices of wholemean bread toasted and a jammy wagon wheel

Friday wasn't much better either.... I had 2 weetabix for breakfast, with 2 toasted pancakes. Lunch was scrambled eggs, bacon & toast, dinner was a chicken stir fry at my friends house, so dinner was OK. The wagon wheels I had when I came home however, was not.

Today has gone downhill too... had wholemeal bread toasted for breakfast... then soup for lunch... and a damn wagon wheel!! I wish they were all ate so I didn't have to touch them again!

HELP ME!!! I was doing well too

MmeJaffaB · 31/01/2009 17:26

Nappyaddict didn't you CAT me? I'm really lost now if you didn't cause I definately had a CAT from a nappyaddict asking me about my bf's ds and talking?

WoS, we have to bring it back and do this, I have to say I feel better today though have decided I need to Man up and get on with it and if I'm not organised and don't know what to have I'll have nothing....... yeah right!

nappyaddict · 31/01/2009 17:38

Mme - Yes I did but I looked and hadn't got a reply off you.

sep1712 · 31/01/2009 17:50

Haven't done so well myself. Had a really crap day yesterday but food not too bad only had half of egg mayo sarnie. Made sw curry but was too ill to eat. Went to bed last night at 6.30 and didn't get up till 12 today. Feeling a bit better, had weetabix, areo choc bar!!! Might warm curry up and stuff it in. Not that bothered about food but will just put rubbish in if i dont.

caykon · 31/01/2009 18:37

Its horrible feeling ill, it really messes with your appetite and you crave the worse foods. Best just to plod on and limit the damage as much as possible, then tackle it when your well and back on form. The odd blip isnt the end of the world

MmeJaffaB · 31/01/2009 19:32

Sent it yesterday to the coloured sparkly address NA I can re send if you like as it's still in my sent items as have just checked.

Well done jaffa!!! It was worth all the hard work. Keep it up.

Snap i had 3lb off at weigh in today aswell.

Thats 11lb in 3 weeks ye har.

keepingitRia · 02/02/2009 12:51

hello. not weighed in as been ill. am back to it today though. will try and catch up later

caykon · 02/02/2009 13:04

Well done for all the losses, they are great motivation.

I am struggling with my appetite at the moment, I just don't have one. I am making myself eat, as I know I have too, and #i don't do well on sw unless ~I eat plenty. Where has my pig of an appetite gone that got me dietiing in the first place, @I want some of it back.

sep1712 · 02/02/2009 14:00

Nice to see you back ria, hope it wasn't anything too serious and your much better now.

I find you do get use to eating less calories so don't eat as much, caykon.

wow, I love it here. It's nice to have been missed.

sorry to hear about your niece MJB, thinking of you and hope all goes well.

well done on all the losses

I expect I will have had a gain while I've been stressed and then ill. I have slipped today after starting so well, but will start afresh tomorrow.

spoke to DM at the weekend and she's enjoying her holidat but has put weight on, so maybe I'll get the support from her in RL (that Dsis promised but hasn't come through with) when she gets back. Of course she only had maybe 1 or 2 stone to lose, but if I can get her to go walking with me on an evening when it gets lighter or something, that'll be good.

keepingitRia · 02/02/2009 16:40

pizza- I think to make a homemade on ewith a sachet of pizza dough mix is about 6 syns? Pizza is one of my big problems

MmeJaffaB · 02/02/2009 21:57

It could be per slice though Ria? Pizza is a tough one except the not the same mash one. I had two slices of pizza for lunch today, on body optimise it clearly states to treat yourself when things go right not worng. So I did!! I decided that maybe if I had a Monday controlled treat then I'd have something to look forward to each week.

Just done Aerobics and a dance class, must have worked the pizza off.

Tomorow is another day!

Oh and they've now introduced Extra Easy to body optimise so I have all the bumf! Woo hoo

OP posts:
keepingitRia · 02/02/2009 22:06

sorry I never got round to emailing you any more info, the stuff my sister gave me was virtually unreadable. I think it's like an individual pizza (maybe half a pack of dough?) I will look up the recipe tomorrow.

I think controlled treats are good. I couldn't survive without TBH.

keepingitRia · 03/02/2009 09:48

OK, extra easy "fry up" eaten... no idea what to have for lunch today though. need to go shopping really, but if I wait til tomorrow DH will be at home and he can drive

nice day though, so maybe a walk later

sep1712 · 03/02/2009 10:38

What about a nice omlette for lunch with salad?

I'm very confused what does extra easy with body optimise entail?

Aerobics and a dance class in one day!! omg how do you have the time or the get and go?

Its market day here and i should really have a long walk there and get some fruit and veg cheese etc but i'm not going to. Still feel a bit rough and dd has an ear infection so i'm just going to stay in and rest till i have to go to work tonight.

Have a great week all.x

keepingitRia · 03/02/2009 10:46

I have miraculous great news. I just weighed in (as I thought I should check what I'm up against from my not-trying, and so I can see a loss after being back on track to keep me going IYSWIM) and I have maintained since 17 Jan

I am because although I haven't been that bad, I certainly haven't been good.

And that means I'm not back to square one

don't blame you for resting sep, take it easy.

think I might do a small chicken fried rice type thing for lunch. don't fancy omelette (and DH not here to make it for me I am having chicken fajitas tonight, not exactly SW, but fairly diet friendly as I won't be having sour cream or that green stuff, just chicken & veg in spices.

sep1712 · 03/02/2009 12:21

Thats great ria, you managed to stay sort of on track!!!

My dh makes much better omelettes than aswell but i have just had one with bacon and tom's. We have lots of eggs at the mo because i haven't been cooking alot. My hens are laying every day now so have to use them up. Egg mayo sarnies tomorrow!!!

keepingitRia · 03/02/2009 13:10

had tuna pasta sala with lots of crunchy salad veg. yum. DS3 was enjoying it too (he doesn't seem to like bread) until he fell out of his high chair. He must be feeling ok though cos he has been climbing again.

dearprudence · 03/02/2009 13:16

What a lovely surprise Ria (and welcome back).

Great losses Jaffa and Sep - I've almost never lost as much as 3lb in a week.

I couldn't get to class last Weds as DH was away and DS has swimming lesson at the same time. And I had to work an extra day so couldn't get to the daytime class either.

Have been (mostly) back on track thanks to fab motivating tips and am hoping for a modest loss tomorrow.

DH is making a lovely chicken casserole for tonight which is cooked in tomatoes and onions with some apple and raisins in (few syns) and it's spiced up with ginger, cumin and cinnamon. Sounds weird but it's really gorgeous. Will have with SW chips and loads of veg.

I keep finding myself wanting biscuity/cakey things in the evening, so when I'm off tomorrow I'm making scan bran cake.

Oh, and I've just signed up for a 5k race for life in June and a 10k in September.

Have a good day everyone

sep1712 · 03/02/2009 13:51

Hi pru, good luck with class tomorrow.

Casserole sounds yummy, might try that without the rasins and ginger.

What a motivation, signing up to do the race for life! It will make you train, well done.

I've just tried a pair a trousers that i could just do up at christmas but couldn't breath in, and guess what, they fit!! ye har welcome back to my to my wardrobe for spring and heres o a new one for summer.

MmeJaffaB · 03/02/2009 16:32

Sep, body optimise is the online version of SW. It's called "Body Optimise Powered by Slimming World". Thats not online as in your SW web page that you visit with a members pass word etc.... this is the site for those paying for and doing SW online only, no class, no books(papers), no consultant. Why they have to call it something different I don't know, but it's a great site, virtual support, coffee break games, loads of recipies and ideas and all the food faq's and free food/HE and SYN lists that you can download and print if you prefer. When they introduced Extra easy to the consultant classes it hadn't been launched on Body Optimise which was why Ria kindly e-mailed me the page from the woman mag for an insight into how it works. Now they have launched it and all the info including free food lists and ideas are on the site. Hope you are still not confused.

Well done Ria on Maintaining! That will make loosing again feel a little more reachable.

Duck singapore noodles and egg fr for tea tonight here. My Dad had lost 10lb in three weeks following the plan with me.
