Support Thread for all us New Mummies who would like to loses those extra lbs gained while 'eating for 2'

Well, as title says really.

I am the pround mummy to 2 boys, DS1 2 DS2 10 weeks, and have 2 stone to lose by christmas. I think with your help and support I have more of a chance of doing it.

Anyone care to join me?

I'll even start a 'list' for us to cut and paste our achievements.

Glass of Wine OK, (Just not the bar of chocolate that usually accompanies it!!! )

I've been abit naughty today, cheese sandwich and chips for luch, BUT was at Soft Play and had run myself ragged with DS1 so deserved it, then Sausages and Mash for tea.. (no Breakfast, naughty me)

I'm still within my WW points though, so not that bothered

Jodie have heard there is free registration at WW at the moment. I really need to lose 2 stone. Do you recommend WW? I have not eten a proper meal 2 day...just snacked all day. Must slow down and eat proper meals and not child left overs!

I've only ever done WW, it's great as it makes you keep a food diary (a tracker) so you are aware of what you are eating, and as it's points based nothing is out of bounds, your just find yourself making more careful choices. This way you can also 'save' points for something special, so a meal out or an extra drink etc. You also can accumulate points by exercise.

Not sure about Slimming WOrld, never done it.

Oh and I know what you mean about left overs, how many times has my lunch consisted of cold fishfingers and mash!!!

slimming world is different as you dont count what you eat, you just eat certain things on certain days, and there are syns for naughty things approx 15 a day

so today 'green day' limited meats lots of pasta, rice, pots, veggies, eggs, beans, pulses,

on red days limited pasta but lots of lean meats, eggs, fish, dairy, most vegs (not pots)

i am fab and dd is gorge

she is very chilled

enjoying being a mum,

last 2 days unsettled but other than that all good,

still need to shift some weight

put on 2 stone

one gone at birth

was about a stone over at pg,

Had cereal, juice and a cup of tea for breakfast! Have started well and off to join WW on Friday!

Hi Snoopdog - I do remember you also! Infact I had been wondering how things went for you and was worried...so glad it all went well. Congratulations on your dd. It is just so overwhelming and unbelievable when you deliver after miscarriages.
