How's everyone getting on? I;m doing OK (but nly as I've been ill and I'd lost my appetite (sp?) But it's come back now, so I don't hold out much hope for rhe festive period. I think it will be the booze that gets me in the end!!!!

RumpeliciousChristmasWishes · 23/12/2008 15:48

Tee hee JODIE - I put on 2lb last week but lost 3 this week but only 'cos I spent all weekend saying hello to the big black bucket I used when MS was with me

BUT I HAVE NOW LOST 1 STONE just in time for Xmas!!! Not sure how long it will last either but I intend to enjoy it while it does - we'll all get back on track in New Year.

HELLO ALL,

i have been off the wagon some what,

thing is, and it took me a while to realise this, i am ok,

i am heavier than i was before dd,

but not a lot,

she is more than worth it,

i make healthier choices now,

i think before i order,

my size 12 jeans are back on this week,

odd really, i bought them before i was pregnant and never questioned my weight then,

so why is it such a big deal now?

my extra pounds are on my thighs/bum/hips, not my waist, so i am still, technically a size 12,

i was starting to get stressed about it,

not eating on weigh in days, worrying i was 'too big'

when really i should have been worrying about more important things

so, i am just bobbing along for the moment,

according to my wii fit i am still half a stone lighter than when i started this diet,

i would like to be another stone lighter before my wedding, but hey ho, i shall not starve myself to be a size 10,

a 12 is just as beautiful in my eyes...

i have the teats to send to you jodie, i will do it after christmas,

enjoy every last scrap of tasty christmas delights ladies,

i will

So it's all slowed down a little here then.... (Snoop will you still pop in to say hello???)

I've just got back from Austria and have only put on 2.25lbs over christmas and everything!!!! I really thought it would be about 5lbs as the hotel where we stayed offered a 4 course meal every night and delicious red wine and beautiful breakfasts.... Lunch was stodgy stuff too, many potatoes, fuel for the skiers I suppose....

And so I start again.... Back to the gym tomorrow...

Rumpel well done on the stone!!!

Rumpel · 04/01/2009 18:59

Boo JODIE have put on 4lbs Do have AF at the mo' but not really surprising due to Walkers' chilli crisp/wine consumption Tap dancing for me tomorrow and back to weight loss

Well done on only putting on 2.25 lbs did you have a fab time and did all your boys enjoy it?

Hello again, still here, still want to lose another stone at least. I'm not sure what is up with my scales, on Sunday they said I'd gained 3lbs over Xmas, which was to be expected, then today I seem to have lost 6lbs in the last 2 days! I may have to go back to slimming world so I know where I am.

Have tried to be 'good' today, but spent this evening catching up on paperwork I have been putting off (claiming child benefit 5 months late , doing tax return 4 months late ) and felt so stressed I took the lid back off the Quality Street tin. Will have to send it in to work with dh I think.

Snoop, glad you have decided to give yourself a break, you sound like you are doing fine, bet you lose some more weight without trying too hard now you've taken the pressure off yourself.

JODIEhadtoomanymincepies · 08/01/2009 13:09

ponto Do you weight yourself at he same time everyday, I find about 1-2lbs difference from morning to night (So I try to weight my self in the morning! )

I've decided that I;m going to be super skinny (Under 10st) by the time I'm 30... which is 15th August. Works out at about a lb a week.... so you guys need to keep me going.....

Haven't managed the gym this week as DS1 been a nightmare at bedtime, and only mummy will do (has been spoiled from the hliday, so to be expected) but going to try to go tonight. Have been doing 1/2 hour of wii fit though.

ponto · 09/01/2009 11:13

Think there must have been some kind of gravitational abnormality in my bathroom 2 days ago, as the lost weight has all reappeared! Didn't go to Slimming World yesterday, felt too embarassed by my gain over the holidays.

1lb a week sounds like an achievable goal Jodie, I will join you. Have just been inspired by looking at the body mass index chart when I saw the nurse for a blood test, I am in the middle of the overweight range now, I need to lose 2 stone to get back in the healthy range. At 1lb/week, I should get there in time for my brother's wedding in September (in Bali, so I will need to look good in a swimming costume by then).

JODIEhadtoomanymincepies · 12/01/2009 09:29

Whoo hoo, 3lbs this week! I've joined a new website (free) that tracks your calories and exercise, it's quite good and keeps me on track www.foodfocus.co.uk so I've cancelled my WW, saves me £10 a month!

How is every one else?
