Hi sorry if a thread has already been created but I am on a weight loss journey and need to lose over 100lbs so any support would be great!
Will come back everyday with calories eaten and any exercises I’ve done. Need to be held accountable’ 🥰

Hi @curvynearly30I'll join you. I'm on a few of these threads but they don't seem to get many posts.

I am trying to get myself back on track. I lost 4 stone last year but have put 1 stone back on since November 🙄

I am loosely following intermittent fasting and generally trying to be more mindful. I weigh in every Wednesday.

Sw: 12st 7lbs
GW: 10st
CW: 12st 5.5lbs

Indierocknroller · 28/03/2025 07:14

Oh and well done @curvynearly30sound like you are doing great and working hard 💪 I'm not doing too well on the exercise front but hoping to get out and about more as the weather improves x

curvynearly30 · 28/03/2025 07:14

Oh perfect! Yeah I noticed that. I’m on a few too.

here for support. I lost 3 stone before I had my child then piled it on… I’m an emotional eater so trying to learn from that.

I weigh every Sunday.

we will get to our goals! 💪🏼💪🏼

curvynearly30 · 28/03/2025 07:15

Thank you! I have a Zumba class every Friday evening which just helps massively for motivation!

OP posts:
Indierocknroller · 28/03/2025 07:30

100% with you with the emotional eating! Stressed, tired, overwhelmed = food! Trying to overcome this and find healthier ways of managing 😊

Indierocknroller · 28/03/2025 07:35

I currently work both mornings and evenings (alongside being a wife, mum, friend etc) so I am finding it hard to fit exercise in without completely burning myself out. However, determined to start walking again more, even if it's just walking to and from school rather than going in the car. The main thing for me is ensuring my diet is healthy and not going back down the path of binge eating.

curvynearly30 · 28/03/2025 08:10

Oh stress is my worst factor… 😂
I’m finding eating more protein is definitely helping I try and eat 120g each day.

You sound so busy… walking is more than enough! exercising is just n additional bonus it’s all about what your eating and how much.
your going to do fab you’ve done it once before. 🥰

Indierocknroller · 28/03/2025 08:34

Thank you 😊 I know I can lose it. Just need to focus on keeping it all off once I get there rather than this constant yo-yo-ing

curvynearly30 · 28/03/2025 09:15

That’s the hard thing. It’s hard to change the mindset sometimes

How was your weekend? I had a lot of food based celebrations- my friend's 40th afternoon tea on Saturday and a Mother's Day BBQ on Sunday. However, stuck to being fairly sensible and made that my one meal of the day so hoping it hasn't impacted my weight loss too much.

Last week of school this week before the holidays. I will have to be ultra focused to survive Easter! 🍫🐣 but will be glad for a bit of a break 😊

curvynearly30 · 01/04/2025 07:42

I had a lovely weekend thank you. Was very busy with parties and Mother’s Day. I didn’t track but ate sensible as I could.
I think that’s amazing. Well done and the off day here and there isn’t too bad.

my daughter is actually on her holidays now for two weeks but I’m still working until next week. Hopefully we both can survive Easter. 😂

i have my partners birthday tomorrow too so hoping the meal out I can be sensible.

OP posts:
Indierocknroller · 01/04/2025 20:57

Hope you have enjoyed all your celebrations. I think essentially, I want to get to a place where I can still enjoy a meal out or a piece of birthday cake without it sending me down a slippery slope! Eating sensibly for the majority of the time but still enjoying life 😊

curvynearly30 · 01/04/2025 22:42

Yeah that’s what I want to achieve. Just to enjoy life but live healthier too

Indierocknroller · 02/04/2025 07:40

Wednesday weigh in 12st 3.5lbs. 2lbs down this week 😊

curvynearly30 · 02/04/2025 07:49

Well done! That’s amazing! I’ll be weighing on Sunday! 🥰🥰

Thank you 😊 good luck for Sunday

Hi both, I would love to join - 70lb to lose rather than 100, but still, I'm very daunted! Realised today though that the amount I need to lose is pretty much the weight of DS1, and he's almost 10 Blush

We're away this weekend with the DC's sports and the hotel is on a half board basis, planning to make some good food choices. In fact, probably better than at home as we've had no kitchen for almost a week - had to empty the worktops and take away all the appliances so everything could be resealed, painted and tiled (a long overdue job!) only for DP's mate doing the work to let us down after day 1... I thought it would only take 3 days as we don't have a massive kitchen, but given that his mate has already had a day off and seems to actually work about 4 hours per day (the rest being tea breaks and lunch breaks) it's becoming a very long job. We've had takeaways for the past few nights and the novelty has definitely worn off...

curvynearly30 · 03/04/2025 06:49

The more the merrier… welcome we will all achieve our goal and we’re here for any support.

that is awful that it’s taken too long but look at the silver lining your not going to want a take away for a while now so at least you don’t have that temptation 😂

OP posts:
curvynearly30 · 04/04/2025 10:44

just a little update… I feel I’ve really struggled this week as haven’t slept the best so haven’t had the energy and ate whatever I wanted… but disheartened with myself and know the scales may not show a loss on Sunday. But back at it today and hoping to make better choices 🤞🤞

1965 calories today - 145g protein!
plus a Zumba class this evening, feels good to be back on it again

Indierocknroller · 05/04/2025 07:56

Hi @curvynearly30well done for getting back on it. It's so hard to fall into old habits when you're feeling exhausted.

I've also had a bit of a blip the last few days, so your not alone! Got home late from work last night and my husband had bought Domino's pizza! I couldn't resist but immediately regretted it. I have a tough couple of weeks now (temptation wise) with Easter, a 4 day weekend away with a friend , family staying and our wedding anniversary coming up. Just going to try my best to be as sensible as possible between it all.

curvynearly30 · 05/04/2025 08:03

It’s so hard when temptation is always around. I’ve really struggled these last few days to resist it.
The fact that we are able to notice this a lot quicker than before I would say is a brilliant thing.

i just don’t want it to roll into a week of bad eating which really messes with my mental health.

its such a battle but we can support each other and get to the goals we have set
