Hi sorry if a thread has already been created but I am on a weight loss journey and need to lose over 100lbs so any support would be great!
Will come back everyday with calories eaten and any exercises I’ve done. Need to be held accountable’ 🥰

Yes 100% agree. It's about not going back down the slippery slope and self sabotaging! Back on it today. We've got this 💪 x

curvynearly30 · 08/04/2025 12:09

How was everyone’s weekend? I had a long one and indulged abit due to partners birthday. Back on it today

Okay....hand ups...I am having a disaster! Weighed in today and have put the 2lbs that I lost last week back on! 😭 I've had a few "bad" days food wise and have been eating way too many bread products (my nemesis!). Anyway, as I said the other day. Trying to be notice when I'm falling off the rails and getting back on it rather than throwing in the towel! So (another) fresh start today. I'm off to a theme park with my boys so hopefully I'll get lots of steps if nothing else.

curvynearly30 · 09/04/2025 11:22

Oh 100% you’ll get your steps in. It’s a hard journey to do and we all will make mistakes.
im trying to not let one day of eating more to damage the test of the week !

enjoy your day!

OP posts:
curvynearly30 · 09/04/2025 20:12

How was your day at the theme park?

I’ve ate within my calories… total 1930 calories and 118g protein. Also home workout in the bag too! X

i Weighed this morning and I’ve gained a pound. I fully expected that due to the end of March not being the best and beginning of April and only fully tracking since Tuesday this week!

weigh in on Fridays from now on! Hope next week is better result!

OP posts:
curvynearly30 · 18/04/2025 08:05

How are we all getting on?

i weighed today and lost 3lbs. That’s with Sunday and Monday being more calories and eating what I wanted when I wanted, just goes to show one or two days do not ruin your whole progress. This is something I’ve had to learn and still struggle with!

How are we all doing?

Another pound lost this week! Very happy with that as I’ve only been consistent since Monday! My goal for May is to be consistent all month or majority of month! X

Hi @curvynearly30I'm so sorry I've be awol! I've had a rubbish month or so food wise and went back to the dark side!!! Girls trip to Albania and Easter did not help. But I've been back on it this week and lost a few lbs (of the weigh gained in April 🙄) and starting again (for the millionth time!) Back to where I started from at the beginning this thread 😭 but hoping for a different outcome this time.

Looks like you have been doing well. Well done for keeping at it 👏 xx

curvynearly30 · 10/05/2025 08:31

We all have bad days or periods. We can’t always be on track. Things come up that change our plans.
I don’t think of it as starting again I think of the days I over ate as re-feed days, them days I gave my body a break and what it wanted.
you've got this!

I’ve had a really good end of April beginning of May for certain. Lost 4lbs this week from the 1st May. xx

Well done @curvynearly30 👏 yeah, trying not to beat myself up. I'm off to France in Aug so going to use that as my motivation to stay on track.

Indierocknroller · 14/05/2025 07:37

Right I'm back to my Wednesday weigh in.

Jyst over 2lbs off this week which I'm pleased with.

SW: 12st 7lbs
CW: 12st 3.75lbs

Nearly back to where I got to at the beginning of April 🙄 I just need keep going this time! I feel like I am in better head space so fingers crossed.

Hope everyone else is doing well? Xx

curvynearly30 · 14/05/2025 07:41

Well done! That is amazing! You’ve got this!!

Thank you 😊

Indierocknroller · 21/05/2025 07:57

Not so good this week but not for want of trying! 1lb back on 🙈🙄 I have just started my period so hoping it's hormonal and will come back down when I'm feeling less bloated! Hope everyone else is doing well?

curvynearly30 · 26/05/2025 07:25

Well I’ve had an awful last couple of weeks ended up having a chest infections and then on top of that my partners grandad has died. I used to be an emotional eater but honestly i haven’t emotional age yet 😁
I honestly feel that could be water retention from either your period or getting back to it again. Hopefully this week you will see a difference xx

Hi @curvynearly30 I'm so sorry to hear you've had a difficult few weeks and sorry for your loss. At times like his I feel like you just need to look after yourself (whatever that looks like).

I have a mixed week. I was really focused until Saturday, when I had friends over and was a complete glutton! However, managed to give myself a pep talk yesterday and refocus myself. I am on half term now which is a blessing and a curse. Gives me more time to fit in exercise but it's definitely harder to maintain good eating habits due to social visits, being away from home and days out. However, I'm really going to try my best to stay mindful.

Reading this entire thread back shows me just how stuck I still am on the yo-yo. Even when I am trying to change habits I am continuingly going up and down, on and off. I suppose, I just need to keep going and focus on noticing and gradually changing the pattern.

I am going to weigh in tomorrow instead of Wednesday this week as am away from Wednesday visiting family.

curvynearly30 · 26/05/2025 08:22

Thank you so much! It’s such a difficult time but hoping to still stick to what I know is good for me.
sometimes we do need to overeat a little just to take a break. The big thing is you are getting back and refocusing on it.
i have half term this week too. So looking forward to the quality time. I’m just making sure I take food with me where I can so I’m still within my calories.
xx

Thank you, I hope you have a lovely half term 😊 x

Indierocknroller · 27/05/2025 08:28

Weighing in a day early as I'm away for two days from today visiting family. Much better week (despite the Saturday blip) and back down to 12st 3lbs. So just under 2lbs this week and 3lbs in the 3 weeks since restarting which lines up with my aim to lose a 1lb a week plan (even though it's not linear). Slow and steady but gradually moving in the right direction. Just need to keep going and not sabotage myself!
The rest of the week is going to be tricky. I'm away from home until Thursday and on Sunday I have an afternoon tea booked for my friend's birthday. I'm going with mindset of being as sensible as positive whilst still enjoying myself but trying my hardest to be "good" in all the time in between.

Indierocknroller · 04/06/2025 07:43

Wednesday weigh in...12st 1.75lbs. So survived half term and lost just over a lb this week. Trying to remember that slow and steady wins the race.

How is everyone doing? Hope you had a nice half term @curvynearly30

curvynearly30 · 04/06/2025 07:51

Hi that’s brilliant! Well done slow and steady all the way!
we had and up and down half term but overall really good. It was my birthday yesterday so I let myself enjoy that. Back on it today and weighing next Friday as I know this Friday may throw me off track
