Hi sorry if a thread has already been created but I am on a weight loss journey and need to lose over 100lbs so any support would be great!
Will come back everyday with calories eaten and any exercises I’ve done. Need to be held accountable’ 🥰

Just under 2lbs off this week for me, which I'm pleased with. I haven't lost much over the summer but I haven't gained so that's a win in my books!

My oldest starts secondary school tomorrow and I start my new job on Friday so a big week for us! Hoping for a bit if a reset and refocus in September. Next mini goal is to move out of the 11s.

my daughter was back at school today! So it’s nice to be back in a routine!

I've been completely off the rails! 😭 New job, kids at new schools, lots of driving, horrible weather, tired and stressed (plus the excuse of having a birthday) have led to the usual emotional eating! Haven't even dared step on the scales!
I'm trying to get myself back in the right mindset but I'm struggling 😪

My brother is getting married on Saturday which is lovely, but it's almost put me in the head space of "there's no point until after the wedding" because I know there will be lots of social eating!

Rationally, I know I am sabotaging myself but finding it very hard right now.

So should be back to weighing in today but my scales have run out of battery! Hope to locate some this evening so I can weigh in tomorrow instead.

I've been half back on track. Much better than I was and no major binges but still not 100% focussed!

I think once I've weighed in and given myself a start point, I'll be able to fully refocus.

Definitely finding it hard at the moment and rationally don't want to throw it all away. But the tired and emotional side of me of me is craving food and laziness alongside new work stress, travel and routines.

Okay, found the batteries and weighed in this morning. By some miracle I haven't gained, but I'm essentially the same weight as I was at the beginning of September, so no real loss either.

I feel like I've mostly got myself back on track now, but definitely finding it harder at the moment.

Well done @Indierocknrollerno gain is brilliant

we all have set backs I sure have and I think tackling emotional eating is harder than people think.
I’ve really struggled especially when I’m sad or hurt I eat so much more and I’m struggling to get control over that.
but every little step in the right direction is better than none at all.

my eating isn’t too bad at the moment, when I’m binge eating it isn’t half as much as I used to eat so I can see I’m making improvements.
my main focus these next few weeks in increasing my exercise and when I exercise I stick more to the plan 🥰🥰

Well done @curvynearly30and thank you for always being so compassionate and understanding.

Exercise is my next aim too. I've just rejoined the gym and have started a few classes. Like you, I am much less likely to overeat if I done a workout, because I don't want to waste the effort!

I've been much more on track this week. Just need to keep going now x
