Hi sorry if a thread has already been created but I am on a weight loss journey and need to lose over 100lbs so any support would be great!
Will come back everyday with calories eaten and any exercises I’ve done. Need to be held accountable’ 🥰

Thank you ladies 😊

Indierocknroller · 09/07/2025 07:52

Just shy of 2lbs lost this week 😊

I feel like I'm on a bit of a roll and keeping fingers crossed for my 1 stone milestone soon....(1lb to go!) I am, however, aware that the dreaded period gain is probably due this week, so I'll just keep trying my best!

Hope everyone is doing well

Cw: 11st 8lbs
Gw: 10st

curvynearly30 · 09/07/2025 11:31

Well done @Indierocknrolleryour doing amazing!
how are you feeling about your progress so far?

OP posts:
Indierocknroller · 09/07/2025 14:11

Thank you @curvynearly30 I'm definitely feeling better in myself and noticing changes in my body. It took a while to get back in the right head space but feel I'm there again now.

This time last year, I managed to get down to 11st 9lbs (from 15st 9lbs) before putting a stone back on. So I've just tipped under that weight which is a good feeling.

Now, I need to keep going, and break the pattern of yo-yoing up and down!

curvynearly30 · 09/07/2025 20:11

The fact you realise the patterns means you already making the necessary changes xx

OP posts:
Indierocknroller · 09/07/2025 21:57

I know, but I've been here before...really focused, determined and in control and then something switches and the weight creeps back on! 🙈 I'm really hoping this time is it! Get to a healthy weight and stay there!

curvynearly30 · 10/07/2025 07:32

You’ll do it! And we’re here to support you every where x

OP posts:
Indierocknroller · 10/07/2025 07:50

Thank you @curvynearly30

curvynearly30 · 11/07/2025 06:18

I’ve not lost anything this week. Which is quite disheartening as I feel I stuck brilliantly to my calorie deficit. 😞

OP posts:
Indierocknroller · 11/07/2025 07:28

Oh no 😪 it's so frustrating when that happens. Fingers crossed it will catch up next week. Keep going, you're doing brilliantly x

Well done! You’ve got this!

OP posts:
Indierocknroller · 14/07/2025 13:12

Well done @Cazs818 😊 no gain is always good, especially during your period.

I am dreading the scales on Wednesday. It's my son's birthday today and we've been celebrating with friends and family all weekend (meal out Saturday/BBQ yesterday!) and are having birthday cake and a Chinese takeaway tonight! I'm trying/have tried my best to stay on track but so hard when socialising. I am also on my period so think I may have to call this week a write off and reboot myself ready for next week!

curvynearly30 · 14/07/2025 13:29

@Indierocknroller don’t worry about a few days / week where you go off plan. Life gets in the way and you’re allowed to enjoy things!
I read somewhere that it’s good to have a week of two at maintenance calories when on a deficit for so long.

OP posts:
Indierocknroller · 16/07/2025 07:37

Wednesday weigh in....As anticipated, not a good week. 1.5lb gain 🙈 a mixture of being on my period and too much food-based socialising/celebrating. No excuses though...back on it properly again from today.

SW: 12st 7lbs
CW: 11st 9.5lbs 🙄

curvynearly30 · 16/07/2025 09:09

We will all have those days and it could be a lot worse!
I hope you had a nice time celebrating!

A step in the right direction this week , but the panic is definitely starting to set in 97 days until my wedding and my dress is still not fitting right I’ve managed to squeeze in to it and the zip has done up with the assistance of my partner he earnt some huge brownie points for putting up with my melt down 🙈
only one to blame is myself I’ve finally accepted that.

Was a on a see food eat food diet for many years the weight didn’t appear overnight , it’s been accumulating for over 20 years I just ignored it and continued over eating and blaming it on having baby’s and everything else I could apart from the real reason only I’m accountable no one tied me down and force fed me only I can deal with it

I’ve got two big holidays coming up in august & a birthday next week that I’m actually dreading.
one is a all you can eat buffet style 🙄 nothing healthy on the menu all high processed and no fruit or salads very limited veggies god help me .
the other one eating out for breakfast & dinner @ a Wetherspoons for 4 days or similar cheap pub style grub .
If any one has some tips for surviving this I’m all ears

curvynearly30 · 21/07/2025 07:57

Well done @Cazs818 on your weight loss this week.!
You've done amazing!
You got your dress on that’s the main thing. You will get where you want to be! 🥰
enjoy your birthday one day of eating higher calories isn’t going to destroy all your hard work. As long as you the following day you’re back on eating in a deficit you will do amazing!

OP posts:
Indierocknroller · 21/07/2025 14:18

Well done @Cazs818 you are doing so well and you still have plenty of time to fit comfortably into your dress.

When I went on my all inclusive holiday last year, I allowed myself to enjoy myself but tried where possible to make sensible choices.

Be kind to yourself and keep going! You've got this 😊

Cazs818 · 21/07/2025 18:21

Thanks ladies

Indierocknroller · 23/07/2025 08:56

All very slow and steady (and a bit up and down) but getting there bit by bit.

Hope everyone is doing well?

First day of the summer holidays today, so I'm hoping to stay on track and I plan to up the exercise as there are less work commitments.
