⭐️ OPEN TO ALL ⭐️

Following on from ⭐️LOSE IT! Revive & Thrive January 2025⭐️

WOW January passed in a heartbeat! Let’s keep the momentum going ladies!

To reach optimum health and vitality (as well as a slim bod) we need to focus not only on our food intake; but movement, our mental health and sleep quality too!

Who doesn’t want to feel good and energetic as well looking great!
Get on board to reset & refresh and become a healthier version of yourself.

These threads are for those who’d like to lose weight and those who wish to maintain whilst eating a healthy varied diet.

As no one size fits all, members need to follow their own way of eating. This thread aims to offer guidance, support and a bit of hand holding.

We generally have WOW (weigh on Wednesday) day each week. However post and share your progress as often or as little as you prefer. Do what works for you.

The important thing is not to think of it as a diet (based on deprivation and unsustainable) but more a way of life (sustainable & enjoyable).

I calorie count based on a lower carb Mediterranean diet. I intermittent fast and eat twice a day. Im a long time healthy eater and overall I’ve lost over 3 stone. After having been on the wrong side of 12st Im now hovering around 9st 2lbs.

Are you in😊 What food plan will you be following? What do you want to change and why?

FFS, I have succumbed to a nasty lurgy so comfort food and zero exercise here. Is it time for the March thread yet?!?

Hoping to feel well enough tomorrow to get back on healthy eating and some light exercise. Harrumph.

Goodafternoonmillie · 12/02/2025 06:51

WOW +2lbs.
last week: 10 st 2.0
today: 10 st 4.0

however body fat is slightly down:
last week: 31.7%
today: 31.4%

so hopefully the gain is a temporary thing. I will definitely blame my terrible eating at the weekend though!!

30 min Caroline Girvan Chest & Triceps completed this morning ✅
I didnt workout or move yesterday in the end, so that is the first day this year I have completely skipped.

B: Smoothie
L: Stew
D: Chicken & Salad

well done and good luck to all wowers!!

Jaderz · 12/02/2025 07:24

I’ve lost 2.6lbs in one month 😂
better than 0
I’m back down to late Jan weight 10st 6
6lbs to go. 6 hardest lbs ever 😂

StealthyBMI · 12/02/2025 07:46

WoW for me:
Last week 82kg
Today 80.4kg.

Pretty pleased with that after a pretty wobbling week of weigh ins going up, up, up.... Yesterday I skipped breakfast and ate two bigger meals with lots of salad and lean protein and drank a lot, and it seems to be back on track.
That's just made me realise I've not had a headache at all since starting this WOE. A combination of a much better diet and loads more water must be doing the trick.

Get better soon! When I was ill last week I wanted to snack non stop. Be kind to yourself and remember you can get focussed again in a few days.

TerroristToddler · 12/02/2025 08:18

WOW for me - down 1.6lbs this week which I'm thrilled with after a few weeks of 0.5lbs each time. Not all my super willpower to credit - I've had an awful flu thing since Thursday so did lose my appetite for a few days. Can't do intense exercise so my Peloton bike has been left lonely for best part of a week (I miss my daily rides!) and I've been doing a few walking slots on the treadmill each day instead just to keep steps up.

SW (2 Jan 25') - 140lbs
CW (12 Feb 25') - 133.4lbs
GW - 125lbs

8.5lbs to go!

Let's keep going ladies!

TealSloth · 12/02/2025 08:33

Morning everyone hope you all well. I've finally overcome my plateau. Loss half pound. Very pleased with my outcome.
5 mins on spin bike. Go to gym in the afternoon after work. Have a set meal.

ForestDragon · 12/02/2025 08:52

WoW here as well:
SW 94kg
CW 90.7kg - same as last week!
GW 70kg

Feeling ok with this because weekend eating was up at or above maintenance calories, so by rights I shouldn't have lost this week. Am slightly surprised I didn't gain! On a better trajectory this week, and will continue my efforts. Am also not feeling great - just a cold I think but I'm exhausted all the time and snacks are dangerously tempting. Also it's putting me off running as I feel like I have no energy. Hopefully will snap out of it - I had an early night last night but this morning I'm still super tired. Maybe another early night tonight.

Newname2308 · 12/02/2025 08:53

WOW 65.7kg
Last week 65.1kg

Bit frustrating, but I'm happy to be sticking below 66. Need to aim just to get back into 64kg territory! That will feel like progress. Still too much evening snacking and little daytime movement.

under60kgbyJuly · 12/02/2025 08:55

Up 300g on last Wednesday - not a surprise, and non-scale things like exercise and eating more plants are going well, so ok. I would say hoping for better next week, except that next week I am going on holiday, and won't be able to WOW. I may drop in at the start or end of the week if I have a nice weight to record, otherwise see you in 2 weeks! Good wishes to all.

SW: 63.4kg
CW: 62.7kg
GW: 60.0kg

TheRealHousewife · 12/02/2025 09:08

Happy WOW Day!

Ive STS so marginally better than a gain but ever so frustrating as I’ve been on point with healthy eating and somewhat measured portions.

@Newname2308 I share your frustrations; that said slight fluctuations are totally normal 👍

@ForestDragon I think we are twins as I have also stayed the same 👯

@Jaderz @StealthyBMI @TerroristToddler @TealSloth Congratulations on your losses 🥳👌

A warm welcome back @beezlebubnicky ❤️

@AnonymousMum37 Try not to stress about it when the numbers don’t budge. I know it’s frustrating when you know you’ve done the work and put the effort in. The exercise you’re doing is fantastically good for you! I would think you’re also building muscle which weighs heavier. The numbers on the scale will catch up soon I’m sure!

@WhatWouldTheDoctorDo I hope you soon feel better 💐

@Goodafternoonmillie Yup I think the ‘terrible eating’ might have something to do with the small gain 😬 At least you know if you why the numbers are up. Well done on getting your body fat down!

Menu
Meal 1 - Red lentil bread & mackerel pate.
Meal 2 - Pasta with chicken & chorizo in tomato sauce.
Tea, black coffee and water.

Exercise
Session 1 - Hand weights.
Session 2 - Floor exercises

SW 11st 1.25lbs
CW 10st 12.5 lbs (69.17kg)
TW. 10st (63kg)

Down 0.75lb this week. Happy with the loss as while I was good for the first half of the week I made some poor choices the last 2days. Was feeling very lethargic and low energy.

Still need to work on better sleep and more hydration.

jane46b · 12/02/2025 09:48

Happy WOW

SW: 12st 4.2lbs
CW: 12st 0.2lbs

Over 4lbs off in a week - this is the start I needed! I know it'll be water weight etc, but I'll take it 🙌🏼
I needed the scales to move in the right direction.

I've not been counting calories, but been doing IF with a 8 hour eating window, will keep this up this week and hopefully see another week shift next WOW.

Have a good day everyone ☺️

goldendragonbiscuit · 12/02/2025 10:28

0.4kgs/0.8lbs down this week

Sw: 73kg
Cw: 68.8kg

beezlebubnicky · 12/02/2025 10:44

Happy WoW! Well done everyone 😄 and nice to be back @TheRealHousewife thanks for your fab cheerleading as always!

My weight hasn't shifted but have only been on plan for 3 days so unsurprising. Hoping for a small result next week.

SW: 11st 3lb
CW: 10st 12lb
GW: 9st

Got off to a good start with a mini wrap breakfast burrito with bacon medallions, scrambled egg and hot sauce.

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 12/02/2025 12:20

afternoon all. Despite my rubbish start to the year, my weight has pretty much maintained, so while that’s no progress on my first goal to lose half a stone and get back to where I was last summer, I’m going to take it as a win!

Back to tracking calories for me, and hopefully I’ll be able to exercise soon.

TheRealHousewife · 12/02/2025 12:27

Great losses @alluphill @jane46b @goldendragonbiscuit 👍👏👌

To say you’ve had a tough start to 2025 @WhatWouldTheDoctorDo I think you’ve done great to maintain 👍

FaeryQueen · 12/02/2025 12:35

10st 7.3 for me this morning so about 1lb down over the last 2 weeks.

I went away with a friend last week and we didn't really stint ourselves so I'll take that happily!

FaeryQueen · 12/02/2025 12:48

Oops missed the edit window

SW in September was 12.5 stone so I'm down nearly 2 stone and it really shows. I've just ordered new trousers in a size smaller!

Well done everyone. We can do this! People say it's harder to lose weight after the menopause but I'm proving it can be done.

ts96 · 12/02/2025 13:02

1st week done. Horrified at the numbers - I'm taller than average but not by that much! Very aware that this will be a lot of water weight lost this week but nice to see some change starting.

SW: 90.7kg
CW: 86.3kg

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 12/02/2025 13:56

Thanks @TheRealHousewife I’m pretty pleased to be honest.

well done @FaeryQueen that’s a great loss over these last few months. It feels amazing to go down a size or two.

LBB2020 · 12/02/2025 17:24

Well done everyone!
I've stayed roughly on track so far this week. Really need to make sure I’m drinking enough though and start some exercise. Struggling with the exercise as I don’t have time in the morning and by the evening I’m too tired to be bothered! I was in a really good routine last year but have lost all motivation and can’t get back in the right mindset, any tips welcome!

Fellsbells · 12/02/2025 18:49

1lb up this week, period and pizza hasn’t helped.

socks1107 · 12/02/2025 21:37

Perry good week for me. Stayed at my calories, been to the gym twice, walked 15k steps every day and according to happy scale I'm down 1.5lb average. That's 9lb gone and it's starting to show!
I really need to increase my water but that's difficult as I walk all over the hospital so not sure how to manage that!

OldCat79 · 12/02/2025 22:00

I’d like to jump on board here!
I started 16:8 again 2 days ago- once I get into it I know it does work but I can’t get past the 2 week mark with life, work, sick kids and not much time to track foods along with a ridiculous sweet tooth
😬
Current weight 83kg
Height 168cm
BMI rapidly approaching 30……

I have hip pain and I need to get this weight down so joining for some weekly accountability!

thanks
