Yesterday managed to stay over 300cal under my MFP target and do a Barre class and a lunchtime and evening walk whilst my DC were in a club, so ended day >15k steps.

Starting weight: 10st 8.8lbs
Monday: 10st 6.5lbs
Today: 10st 2.9lbs

Decided to weigh today as am out tonight and will be eating and drinking what I like, so I will jump up no doubt next week and spend the next few days gaining and losing the same 2-3 pounds!

Am very happy today. Saw the number 10 on the scale this morning. About 5 years since I have seen this. My goal for February was to see the number 10 and woohooo I’m there. Now just need to keep consistent. I drink a lot of fluids - find when I’m hungry, in reality I’m thirsty.

Didn't quite hit my 3st total weight loss but finishing the week at a 2lb loss so am happy with that!

SW (Jan 2024) - 190lb
SW (Jan 2025) - 161lb
Last week's weight - 150.8lb
CW - 148.8lb

Total loss this year - 12.2lbs
Total loss since starting - 41.2lbs

So happy to be in the 140s!!

I'm out tomorrow so will likely be a few lbs up by Monday and will lose them by Friday 😅

Well done all!

I’m still weighing on Monday for now. Not feeling hopeful as I was prescribed some anti-inflammatory meds which can cause water retention and I’ve puffed up like a balloon! Also really affected my stomach. However not continuing with them as reaction is so bad so hopefully it’ll come off over the weekend before my weigh in. 🤞🙄

It's been a frustrating week this week as I've hurt my leg. Along with my existing arm issue it's meant I haven't been able to do much exercise. I did go to Pilates this morning and that was mostly fine so hopefully everything is back to normal now!

My actual weight has gone up since Friday but I'm still a pound down on last week and averaging a pound a week. Happy with that and ready to tackle this week

I weighed on Saturday and was down to 147.8 which is just over a total loss of 3 stone!!

Refusing to weigh today, had a v carby boozey weekend 🤣

Back on Fast 800 Keto today, will try resist weighing til Friday

Weighed in at 11.3 this morning so I’ve lost 1.5lbs this week.

It’s been a difficult week as I was given some prescription anti-inflammatories by my Doctor last Monday for my hypermobility/osteoarthritis joint discomfort which caused awful water retention and stomach issues (constipation). Stopped taking them after 3 days as I felt so ropey and now feel more like normal.

However I have kept to my steps most days and stuck to the 1200 calorie diet despite this. Think I need to get back swimming too as my exercise may need a step up to get the weight moving again. The cold wet weather isn't making me want to go though! Really keen to get under 11 stone, I think it would be a real motivator. Also picking up some new scales later today as my old ones are a bit vintage.

I personally never found swimming great for weight loss as it always makes me ravenous 🤣

Sorry you had a rough time with the meds, so annoying when the side effects are worse than the original symptoms

@HorrorFan81 swimming can make you hungry that’s for sure! Problem is I’m a little limited with what exercise I can do due to my joints, especially whilst overweight. I have booked in for this afternoon and will just do some gentle breaststroke lengths in the slow/OAP lane to start and see how that goes. Hopefully I won’t come home after and eat my own body weight in food! 😆

Like you I had a boozy/ carby weekend but I did weigh today and I was 3lbs up on Friday as I thought. So this week will be about dropping that and hopefully a bit more. And then doing it all again next weekend as out for Valentines!

I find the scales go up and down like a yo-yo even when I have been as good as gold. Don’t let them define the journey. Most likely you are hanging onto water weight.

I'm away for work so weighing on wednesday, although my sneaky weigh ins during the week don't indicate any weight loss, but I feel like my clothes are looser, so that's good enough for me.

I've lost 0.5kg this week, which is about 1lb so I'm happy with that. I didn't get to go to the gym today as I had to go back to the dentist, but I'm hoping to go tomorrow morning instead.

Picked up my new Bluetooth digital scales yesterday and after weighing in they have added some weight. Registered 11.56st instead of the 11.3st. yesterday. Also gives lots of other info. So it seems my old mechanical scales were out by a couple of pounds. Hey ho, could be worse I suppose! 🙄

However, I did manage to get swimming yesterday and off to the pool again today. Managed 40 lengths of slow breastroke with all the other older folk!
