Exactly! This is a marathon not a sprint so a few days of indulgence won't make a difference in the grand scheme of things. Straight back into F800K today and hopefully by Friday the 4lbs will be off, ideally with another 1 🙏

Dropped 1 of my 4lbs this morning, hopefully will continue chipping away at the weekend gain as the week goes on

Bloody miserable weather here but will get out for a wet lunchtime walk a bit later

RestingLettice · 28/01/2025 11:03

I’m living the dream meeting a friend for lunch in IKEA today. Hoping they have something healthy in their selection. 😃

Been a bit lax on my steps the last few days due to the blooming awful weather, hoping to get out more later this week.

It’s probably just temporary weight due to your weekend. I’m sure it’ll shift quite quick.

Littlemissweepy · 28/01/2025 17:06

Been looking back on MFP, I have dipped in and out of it for years and it keeps all old data. I haven’t had a weight starting with 9st since July 2023. I literally went on an all inclusive 10 day holiday to Ibiza and never ever lost the weight 😳😆

Oh yes I'm not worried- no way I put on 4lb of fat over one weekend 😊

Seem to to losing 1lb a day of the weekend indulgence so nearly back to pre weekend weight now

nodtik · 29/01/2025 20:42

Wednesday has happened;

1400 calories
45 min HIT session at the gym 320 calories burnt
7800 steps - which is not bad considering I was in a 3.5 hour meeting today!

How has everyone else done?

GrannyClanger · 29/01/2025 21:31

I’ve hit a bit of a plateau. Need to reduce my calories down a further I think if I want to see any movement on the scales! I’ve been aiming for 1600 but it needs to be less.

Today I’m on 1300, no exercise today. Did some YouTube workouts Monday and Tuesday and I’ll hopefully get out for a run tomorrow.

Well done on your gym sesh @nodtik!

NahThen · 30/01/2025 09:28

I weighed yesterday and was showing a 2lb loss, but today I've bounced back up a pound.
I started last Thursday so will stick with a Thursday weigh in for now and take the 1lb loss. I haven't been that strict with a big deficit as it's been hard enough getting back on track! Though I've remembered some of the ways I managed by also trawling back through MFP @Littlemissweepy it's quite interesting to see! I seem to rely quite heavily on popcorn 😅

Hope it's still chipping off @HorrorFan81 and everyone else is doing well.

Littlemissweepy · 30/01/2025 10:18

Yesterday I ate 1800 calories but still ended in deficit as was a big cardio day with over 500 exercise calories.

Just did Pilates this morning which only “earned me” 80 calories.

Ate 430 calorie breakfast of banana and oat smoothie with chocolate protein powder and light soya milk.

Scales have also plateaued though and I will be having a blow-out weekend so not expecting a weekly loss come Monday.

HorrorFan81 · 30/01/2025 10:27

I'm back down to pre weekend weight, plus another 0.2lbs. Tomorrow is my weigh in day so hoping for a little more by then but happy I haven't done any damage with my boozy session (plus sticky toffee pudding 😀)

I'm managing to slowly up my steps so that should be helping. Really want to get back to gym for some strength and cardio but my fatigue is still pretty bad post flu and I know better than to push through that so concentrating on walking for now

Well done for keeping going everyone, and for anyone who has slipped off the wagon a bit remember it's a marathon not a sprint - you can get right back on it again

RestingLettice · 30/01/2025 10:31

I managed to get out walking yesterday and hit my steps after a few days of not doing that, going to get out today too. Thankfully better weather, I’m not really into gyms and prefer to be outside. Might do a bit of gardening later too whilst the sun is out! Also managing to stick to my 1200 calories ok for now without feeling too hungry so hopefully that’ll continue.

DuckWithOneWing · 30/01/2025 10:45

My highest weight was 144.2 kg (22st 10lbs). My weight when I stepped on the scales this morning was 72.1 kg (11st 5lbs).

This means I have lost half of my body weight! I'm literally half the person I used to be.

I absolutely cannot believe it!

That’s absolutely amazing and so well done!! You must feel really proud of what you’ve achieved and quite rightly so.

GrannyClanger · 30/01/2025 11:36

@DuckWithOneWing what an incredible achievement, you must be so proud of yourself!

Fibrous · 30/01/2025 11:52

That's an amazing result @DuckWithOneWing ! What an achievement.

Gym and yoga for me this morning. I'm in a lot of haemorrhoid pain at the moment. My period finally arrived (a week late) and wondering if that has anything to do with it. Bloody hormones.

Doing well at hitting 30 g of fibre all this week. Got jacket potatoes with mushroom and lentil ragu for lunch, with a side salad.

GrannyClanger · 30/01/2025 15:18

@Fibrous I read that as lentil rage for some reason 😆

Fibrous · 30/01/2025 15:23

Ha @GrannyClanger there is some gaseous rage going on after that lunch.

nodtik · 30/01/2025 19:54

@DuckWithOneWing phenomenal achievement, well done you!

Good luck for tomorrow @HorrorFan81

Today it looks like ending on;

14 000 steps, 99 mins of exercise tracked.

1400 calories

So showing a deficit on Nutracheck xx

Ethiopianflower · 30/01/2025 22:22

@DuckWithOneWing
that is amazing - you should be incredibly proud of yourself. Fantastic - has put a big smile on my face

Scarecrow2016 · 31/01/2025 07:01

@DuckWithOneWing
That's pretty impressive and a lot of work.

Weekly deficit of 3264.

Weight on 3 Jan 10st 5lbs 0oz.
Last Friday 10st 0lbs 6oz
Today 9st 13lbs 0oz

My maintenance calories are 1581 so I should be aiming for daily intake of 1081 which is too low for me. Have target set at 1200.

NahThen · 31/01/2025 08:10

Amazing @DuckWithOneWing do you feel like a different person?

Mushroom and lentil ragu sounds delicious @Fibrous I imagine it would make a good veggie shepherd's pie.

I had an absolute disaster yesterday, I wouldn't even know where to begin tracking it so I'm not going to. I'll try not to further the damage this weekend..

Fibrous · 31/01/2025 08:15

@NahThen yeah it’s an ottolenghi tray bake one and we’ve used it for all sorts in the past - lasagnes etc. it’s from the Simple book and is a nice easy one.

yeah draw a line under it. Today is a new day.

HorrorFan81 · 31/01/2025 08:24

Bah, no loss this week but at least the 4lb from the weekend have come off.

Will keep going with Fast800 Keto and hopefully next week will be better 🙏
