Have a kick from me Smile. Im exactly the same weight and equally horrified, although I've got a bit longer as I go away in September.
What weight are you working towards? I could do with dropping 10lb

Me too! But it’s 6 weeks and I’m 10st10. Would love to be 10st4. Horrified myself by the wine, crisps and chocolate I’ve consumed this bank holiday. Also noticed the kids getting rather tubby so family health kick starts today for me.

Me too, except I’m 10.9 and my goal is about 10.2/10.3. I’m in the midst of a looooooong plateau, just cannot get below 10.9.

I’m currently away for the bank holiday but when I get back I’m planning 2 weeks of super strict fast 800, then a more gentle 5:2 approach to get me to target by holiday.

I need to lose 6lb in 5.5 weeks for our trip to Malta. You think that would be easy - 1lb ish a week….but I seem to be devoid of all self control.
Found a cadburys crème egg at the back of the cupboard last night and scoffed it before I really thought about it.
Im 49, 5.3 and post menopausal. I used to be able to lose weight easily in my 20s and early 30’s - now half a pound off gets me celebrating!
We can do this! Let’s aim for bikini body holidays!!

6 weeks here. Haven’t weighed myself, but cautiously tried on some of last year’s newly purchased shorts and…nope.

Not sure how much I can do before holiday, but think my arse has now been both metaphorically and actually kicked by those shorts.

Ok gang, are we starting today? The only saving grace for me is that I am eating way too much sugary stuff, so at least I've got space to cut things out.
I cut back massively on alcohol last year and think I replaced the sugar from that with sugar from cake and chocolate, which is a bit weird as I've never had a really sweet tooth before

4 weeks to go for me until holiday. I'm 5ft 4. Started a few weeks ago at 10st 9 and weighing in at 9st 13 this morning! Would love 9st 9 by holiday but I think that may be a bit ambitious! I have been low carbing and helped along by the chaffle thread on here!

I love food and I used to be able to eat loads but I just can't now. I'm 37. My size 10s are tight which is not good. I go the gym 4 times a week too but its my diet!

I’m 43, 183 lbs and only 5ft 2…… this has given me a massive kick up the bum so count me in. It’s been the most stressful year, and I’ve put on 30lbs 😩

It has really only taken about 4 weeks. I usually find it so hard to shift weight and I really hate exercise but low carbing seems to really work for me. I have cut bread, pasta, potatoes, rice etc. Lots of eggs, cheese, fish, salad and chicken. I couldn't really afford to replace my holiday wardrobe so I had to do somethingSmile. I will probably be back to 10st9 after my holiday thoughGrin

I’ll join too! I’ve 5 weeks. Just CANNOT seem to drop weight at all. I don’t eat much sugar or junk and don’t drink much. My portions aren’t ridiculous and I don’t really snack!! I want to lose 4 kg asap.

I'm the same and could do with some accountability! Are we weighing in on a Monday? I'm 10.11 and go on hol in 9 weeks- would love to get down to 10.2. I'm really active, just have no self control and am always treating myself!

Not sure how to share a thread but there's one called 'the secret to 50+ diet and exercise' (I know you aren't all 50+ ) It's where I discovered chaffles which are helping massively with the diet!

Im def up for an accountability thread. Haven’t weighed this morning but will do tomorrow. Aim for me will be 3 square meals a day, no snacks in front of the tv and try to avoid alcohol at weekends. Exercise wise I try to run twice a week and do Caroline girvan twice a week. Might try and up the latter to attempt to wear a bikini. Just find her workouts a tad too long for me, I feel I need 20-40 mins not 30-40 mins.

Grazing is my biggest downfall. I am off
this week for half term, so I will be terrible. And if one more person tells me to snack on carrot sticks instead of biscuits!!!

I’m 10st 8 and aiming for 10st 2, it’s only half a stone but I’m weak with snack and takeaways. Hate the feeling of clothes not fitting properly! I go on holiday 4 weeks today and also need to get back to the gym.

Can I join? Am 10 stone and would love to be 9 - I’m only 5’1. I have about 10 weeks until holiday but have been trying to lose weight for ages unsuccessfully, maybe this thread will finally give me the kick I need! Am planning on doing 1200 on mfp and spin 3 x week, Pilates 2 x a week. We’ll see!
